Now that you mention it, I remember a new-ish channel on Youtube handles stuff like this. It's called Barshens and is basically a collab between internet entertainer/reviewer Stuart Ashen and internet cook Barry Lewis. One of the they do is called 'Sharticles' where they rip apart weird and frankly pathetic news stories from the local papers. I'll post a link to the first one and we'll see if it fits the criteria;

[One F-Bomb; but otherwise all clear.]

Oh gosh...that first article.

I can see the even more saccharine PC remake Magic School Bus now:

Magic Poo-Bus.

Environmentally-sound and full of $@&@.:P

Admittedly the first episode of this is quite...weak. It's the later ones that get truly bizarre.

Well how do you think it got into the porcine?

By very unethical and non-consensual means... kind of like taxes.  Ironically it sounds like government was an apt ecosystem for such a disease to infect. :P

Eh. I'd say it was a shameless move...but it's McDonalds. That goes without saying. Though I suppose it could work to their advantage, if they do what some people in the comments suggested and use that 33K in rent to help the homeless. That IS, after all, what they keep saying they do.

People need to eat and people need jobs. ;) As long as Ronald McDonald does not run around up as Cardinal then it should be fine. (Though I personally think that would be hilarious. XP)

Perhaps, but I'd think almost any other company than McD would have been more suitable.

You got to love the liberal “news....” They are like a suicide cult. It may do a lot of coverups and PR damage control for creeps like Wienstine and donor-pining pal Chuck- “I am proud to know you Harvey” -Schumer, but ultimately they are a problem that takes care of itself.  xD

What a thing to loose, and what an even more frightening thing to find. At least it did not konk any one in the head, Three Stooges style. 😁

Shootings soar in Portland after mayor disbands police gun unit

Gee! I wonder why? I thought people were basically good and we don’t need police, right? Geez...thought this needed to be put in strange news given how strange and bizarre these policy choices are. This almost feels like a parody.

Another one lately from CNN:

 https://apple.news/A2fzTIjm7QgKNyi31j4eLRA

Can anyone tell me how backwards this argument is...from a billionaire monopolist computer programmer known for his aggressive lobbying for corporate-socialist cronyism, who knows nothing about epidemiology? Last time I checked, we would be around 2.4 million deaths if we did not close the country according to the CDC yes? At the time the left was screaming “racist” about it, and telling people to go to China town. Then they condemned Trump for not making people panic and not doing “two weeks sooner” (when no one had the information to make decisions, because a few braves souls had yet get passed China’s censors). Now they are flip flopping again...

Yeah, but unfortunately it's not. I posted this video in the Unrest & Protests thread, but it fits here too:

*nods* They projected around 2 million fatalities at that time if we didn't lockdown the country. Now I wonder where (and how) they got that number.

It’s a deeply sad situation. I don’t want to play “I told you so” with these people. I feel immense pain for people who buy into the “progressive” worldview due to how regressive and inhuman it is. Every time I hear those airhorns and see those flashlights at 2:00 in the morning, I think of My brother Cheeze. @IronCheezehas nocturnal epilepsy, there are many people like him. @Mike Arcadewill tell you he has ASD - it’s like needles in the ear to people like him. Stuff like this can actually trigger dangerous seizures in people like Cheeze. I have had to take a druggie to court over willful harassment before over stuff like that, sadly that does not happen in Oregon. They let you slide, and call it social justice.   To me progressivism has not become a racial nightmare, but an ableist nightmare. It was a scary day when far-left racialist tortured that disabled person in Chicago. I have dedicated my life to protecting the disabled, and this worldview is a massive threat to them. That was our canary in the coal mine.

I really wish they would change their political situation and worldview, because they are essentially oppressing themselves. They voted for that guy, and he’s punishing them for it. But most of all people who need sleep like Cheeze, adolescents, and people needing to drive in the morning to go to work...People have the right to live in peace.

As for this gaslighting weirdness over the virus, I just find it bizarre. Every single policy, from masks, to lock downs, to shutting down the country has been flip flopped on again and again. This is at the price of the American people’s trust. And when trust is lost...you will get factions. And with factions, you get an dangerously uneven counter to epidemiological phenomena. The price is Lives, like in the cases of Michigan and Newyork‘s nursing home deaths.

*nods* Agreed. And they are enabling evil; this is what happens when you reward bad behavior instead of punish people for it >.<
