  1. In The Simpsons Movie, you can see the ambulance Homer crashes in the 2nd season is still there.

  2. I have always found right to work laws an interesting conundrum. I agree that Unions can strong arm people, even rape a man’s conscience by demanding funds that go where their higher-ups deem worthy, despite their own ethical standards. That is deeply wrong, regardless of the persons involved political opinions. Yet, it’s clear those laws can give non-payers special rights and benefits without pay, which is basically legal theft, and incentivizes dissolution of unions. Why pay when you can get the perks for free? Both fringe outcomes are blatantly troublesome economically and socially, and ea

  3. I read the same thing. Lemmie try to find it... *searches on "Amazon unionization vote"* Despite COVID-19, Amazon requests in-person unionizing vote for 'valid, fair and successful election' [USA Today] Amazon faces challenge amid biggest union push in its history [CBS News] {Edit: a friend of mine worked at an Amazon warehouse, but he quit because of conditions like that; said the pay wasn't worth all the crap they had to endure.} Stunning that Amazon’s groundbreaking union vote is in Alabama [Advance Local - opinion]

  5. Maise met snow for the first time this year, she walked outside (a rare thing for her to do) just to see it. She touched it, felt cold, ran back in then continued to watch it, fascinated. Salena, my husky - she just sticks her head in it like a ostrich and snorts it like a line of cocaine.

  6. Given the month. I decided to share one of my favorite ‘black’ American heros. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result. Thomas Sowell is a man of science that fought against the tide of trends and bitter animosity to provide real solutions to ‘racial’ and economic inequities, with sociological and economic science, not with mythical concepts and meta narratives of dog eat dog, us against them, and a thick pretend line between the privileged and the oppressed. Tackling the gaffe and self-destructive presuppositions of peddlers that profit by

  8. Communist Party Tightens Control on Chinese Social Media, License Now Required to Comment on Current Affairs: https://link.theepochtimes.com/mkt_app/communist-party-tightens-control-on-chinese-social-media-license-now-required-to-comment-on-current-affairs_3685782.html Oh look. All of China just became 2020 Twitter. The thought of 1.3 billion, roughly 16%, of the population of humanity, being unable to talk about the world around them under fear of government force is...concerning. Their government is going so far as to ban memes

  10. I am not a big fan of spicy food either @Mokat. I avoid diet coke too, because of aspartame. I have nocturnal seizures, and that's just not safe. I love fresh guacamole though and all Mexican food. Mexican food is my favorite. Love my local Mexican restaurants. I like Red's Italian food, but his Mexican is the best. He's probably a better cook than @Wulfsbane now. LOL. 😝 I know its not authentic Mexican food, but I still like Taco Bell, like trashy @Mike Arcade. 😝
