  1. So awhile back I dabbled in Let's Plays, trying to make them more of a cinematic/performance art experience with some goofy over arching plots you have to think out and such. I'd like to post them here for you guys to possibly enjoy, and wonder if you'd like to see me continue any of them. If you have ideas, suggestions, or advice, feel free to chime in. [Warning: some mild adult humor.] [Compilation] [Zomboid] Episode One Episode Two Episode Three Episode Four Episode Five Episode Six [Organ Trail] Episode One [Plague Inc.] Rise of The Obamaworm Pt 1. [Populous The Beginning] Genocide Rave Party [State of Decay] Episode One [Slendergames] The No Flashlight Challenge Pt 1. The No Flashlight Challenge Pt 2. [The Walking Dead] The Southern Gentleman The One with Micheal Jackson.
  2. We are editing that section and spliting them into two sections for general media theories/speculations (like Creepypasta and such) and totally out of the wall ponderings about the real world stuff (like Shakespeare being multiple guys, ect.). Try it now.
  3. Speaking for myself, you are forgiven in advanced. I am always here to help if need be. This is a bright new start for all of us. We missed you Vl...Rick. I'm happy to have you. The RP corner has already opened a thread for you to chat inside in advance. We are bouncing ideas around.
  4. This song is such a fitting for Robotnik and Satam in general. This song drips with lyrical meaning pertaining to industrialization and the potential for dehumanization due to modernity. It's great to see it in a fitting animated context. It rekindles my love for the song. Tonally these two aspects fit together like peanut butter and jelly.
  5. https://youtu.be/ZsS8Rp_rcUA?t=233 *Perks up at the sounds of chaos in the streets.* Yay! Nagol is here!
  6. A smart choice to make business-wise. That's a reasonably timed demo to shore up some more consumer trust in the brand.
  7. Could be a bug. Presently I can qoute multiple people by clicking on other people's quotes after one prior. The latter qoute will show up where you were originally typing.
  8. So overall let's try to give the concept some clear enumerated rules, gleaning from what we see of the concept in action. After all to make it relevant to the story, there has to be some consistency.
  9. If you guys have any questions, commentary, or advice about the format of the site - here's the place to be. Any ideas for future content will be much appreciated as well.
  10. Okay guys, as we are starting out and with our mission statement in mind - what would you like see from the site first? Personally I have been focusing on the social aspects of the site first so we can all get to know each other (commentary on people's creative works are typically more edifying when you get to know the person after all). This is also a boon for any future creative collaboration (always better to work together when you know each other). If you have anything you'd like to see in that regard let me know. In general what would like to see in the first months? RP's? Group writing projects? Group reviews? Art critiques? Art and writing workshops?
  11. *Deranged hermit runs out of the woods, screaming.* "The stones, the stones! They thirst for brightly colored anthro flesh!"
  12. Oh goodness, goodness. Don't listen to such regal non-sense. There is peace beyond the Acorn Monoarchy you know. A world withoutwar and hunger and pain for a reasonable price... Isn't that right, Sena-Dog? *Cue Terminator music.*
  13. No need to be nervous, bud. It's nice to meet you. I think you will fit here quite well.
  14. Just wanted to give you a warm thanks for keeping to the rating rules so well and being one of the first to show off your work! (Same goes with ToaArcan.) I will make sure you get some good feedback on this soon.
  15. From Game breaking bugs to hilarious exploits of a game's code, this is the place where we show off and talk about our hilarious (and sometimes unsettling) encounters with glitches throughout our gaming lives. I'll go first: Clearly as you can see, Snake is the best driver in all the Indian Ocean.
  16. Home Phone: ... My Social Security: ... My Debit Card Info: ... Where I hid that discovered stash of abandoned Nazi gold whilst backpacking in Europe: ... Okay I'll bite, here you go guys - TheRedStranger (big shocker there, am I right?) I am down for all sorts of games actually. I prefer puzzle, strategy, and cooperative games the best though. I will give you more info if I have more to give - expect edits if need be.
  17. Hello everyone! I'm the Red Stranger, one of the founders of this humble site of blue hedgehogs, conniving mustachioed fat men, and oh so creative wonders. I have been a writer, artist, and musician ever since my early teen years. I am also a huge fan of Satam. Currently I am writing my own continuation of the story line with a group of fellow writers: Wulfsbane, Bytor, Sorzo, Mike Arcade, Red Authar and Nagol. Sans my childhood friend Nagol, all these guys are friends I discovered through a mutual love Satam and one of the new biggest reasons I appreciate it more than ever. Without Satam and Sonic, I would not have them. We hope to even start doing graphic novel work, audio dramas, and maybe even some animated shorts some day based on our current work. More importantly though, we all hope to improve our fandom and enrich the creative and social lives of its fans, sharing the personal experience we have had together thus far. In my every day life I am one of those types that likes to bite off more than he can chew and is still dumb enough to swallow anyways. I am currently going to college for my B.F.A in Graphics Design and will perhaps dual major in Computer Science in hopes to do digital animation or even game design (both 2D and 3D). My master's degree is somewhat in the air due to diverse interests but I am big time reader and have deep interests in theology, political science, and economics.. For over ten years I have a lot to do with serving my local Special Needs Community. Through those years I have volunteered with Special Olympics and then eventually began to work as a Community Living Support Worker to make ends meat. I gotta pretty fun job helping people become more independent as they start to live on their own. I help them find hobbies and interests that they can aspire to and enrich their lives thereby. Some of those activities span from helping people balance a mundane budget, being their personal curator through a museum, their casual councilor, or their fearsome and hammy Dungeon Master (yes, I have been paid to play D&D: best job ever...) When I am not doing that I do freelance work as a digital artist, musician, and photographer. Currently I make extra cash by doing photo restorations and photo-shoots for differing venues. You could say I am young burgeoning Capitalist (which would fit my economic beliefs quite well actually). I am big believer in being your own boss. Anyways, I always try my best to make time for someone needing to talk or get some advice on their work (or anything else for that matter). Feel free to talk to me at any time! P.S - Here is a cute picture of my Huskey, Salena-
  18. If you had to make sense of it; how would you all go about doing just that as writers given what we have story wise?
  19. Another fun thought experiment. Unlike Satam Reconstructed where you reconstruct and improve upon ideas from the original writers and artists of the show, this section is all about redesign. Start with a story element of the show and retool it in a new and way exciting way. I will throw the first morsel of food for thought: How would you do the Coupe differently?
  20. Here is a fun thought experiment from my good old days at FUS: You ask a question about a plot point, issue, or anything that left you confused or nit-picking from the original Satam series. Then, everyone else tries to come up with an interesting, exciting, and intelligent answer for it. It's not a game about criticizing - it's all about improving. I'll go first, revisiting my very first old question and spinning off of it from there. In a world where the majority of the population is Roboticized, why does Robotnik consume so much resources and builds so much industry? What needs are being met by all this industry in a world with only Robians (who don't sleep, eat, drink, buy yo-yo's, ect.)?

  22. I agree that the comics don't live up to what what they possibly could be. Improvement and creative risk taking is what we love here - despite differing opinions. It's one big reason why we are all here and I am glad to have people with strong creative convictions on the site like Wulfsbane, Mr Nemesis, and yourself. From across the pond, I extend you a formal warm welcome to the site, Perry.
  23. It will be indeed. : ) I gather this just the place you all have been looking for lately.
