    Well I think she should be 12-14 from the get go due to how the plot was handled prior. As they made Amy making a selfish decision having her older to join the ffs on missions than saving Elias and Sally's Mom. Granted later it was made a non-issue, but it tarnished Amy as a character.

    1. I am doubtful about Mina mostly because she was seem to made as a diet Amy rose. Granted I could see Elias and Geoffrey working. However, Elias would need to be tooled due to the fact Satam made no mention of Sally having the possibility of a brother at all. 2.a battle to the death or a power struggle would be an interesting story with snerdly and Robotnik. 3. Get go. 4. I see the destructix but the dark legion, eh. Penders described them as a group that could eat Robotnik for breakfast but that was hardly ever backed up with his writing. 5. Nothing too blood and guts gory for deaths and Roboticization. Maybe something like sonic's nightmare of Sally being roboticized in the show.

    Maybe... But cream never was really the character into the mystical stuff. Chao raising yes. Mystical stuff... No. Out of all the characters on the side of the ffs that are still in existence and newbies excluding coral, pearl, tikal, and undina, Amy actually has that pedigree as she was into reading tarot cards and throughout her history in the compendium of sonic she has presented herself as a magic user or a mythology seeker(ie boom counterpart). Honestly, I'll post that in the sister thread for the games in general.

    I thought I was self explanatory. But really if we were still keeping the numbers they could just have a unique comic story of having it be a sonic and co. vs eggman and cronies basic story but have them go through setting by setting and character by character but devote time to who these characters are and emotionally invest in them.

    Honestly, instead of adapting unleashed with shattered world they should have began with either comic only adventure or started with a new square one.

    Overall I feel this saga was inappropriate for reestablishing Sonic's universe. As we are dragged showing different places and characters throughout and never taking the time to take in the characters and setting. Sure there are highlights like the universe and backup stories like shattered, the dark trilogy (I.e. shadowfall, chaos caper, and total eclipse), spark of life, a light in the dark, eggman's dozen, and a couple of others. However, most of the stories after champions was nab the macguffin interact briefly rinse and repeat. As a game adaptation, its better than what the old comics did with sonic adventure as shattered world did tie the game material with the comic material. However, it didn't really do anything special beyond the source material. That and the comic material was far from and was on a shakey base. I would go much further into it but on a different thread. But, tbh this new comic world is indeed broken but it seems no chaos emeralds or ancient spirits can truly fix it

    Well the transition was during champions seeing as a few people dropped the book because of it made me salty toward people in the past. Now not so much. Another Pro: -All the game cast characters had their own tasks and were not just unmentioned. Compared to the game, established game cast members like knuckles and Shadow were just nonexistent in unleashed. Though the Japanese title called it the world adventure, yet none of the elements that made up Sonic's world are mentioned. Which here game characters actually have something to do. Shadow hunting down eclipse and remnants of the black arms. Knuckles restoring the master emerald aside from being the delivery boy to the main ff cast when he sends them Chip. And Silver though is aware of what's happening he's facing problems of his own I.e. genesis portals being the fallout of the SGW. Con: -emotion toward the shattered world, and characters. Aka emotional investment Unfortunately, we had only saw emotional investment with only in a few characters. Often this was during the character building issues like spark of life or some of the back up stories. The story is supposed to be a world flung into total chaos, biblical wrath of god kind of stuff. Not just "yeah this is happening. Just another day." -The lack of a foundation What also is lack of, is that yes treat this end of the world and chaos like its nothing new. However, this a different universe with a different history and course of where the story goes. This not established enough as one would like. Again this was due to many factors.

    For the pros, cons, and observation section. I'm going to turn it over to other people for what they consider particular to this review. Pro: -introduction of newer characters. Throughout the pre-reboot we had a character glut. Which often times they were needless like tommy turtle, or were poorly implemented like the brotherhood of guardian echidnas. Now we have new characters with newer backgrounds some are old wine in new bottles or new wine in old bottles like the ffs. Others are brand new like cassia and clove. Con: -chip's aka light gaia's relationship with the protagonist cast members The problem with chip in this saga though granted the saga is meant to have chip to play a role. His impact seems rather miniscule. Also, there is not much to devote interactions between him and the ffs which however only a few pages are devoted to it.

    Now this saga lasting from the main issues of 252-287 and universe with 55-90. Now granted there is a break with worlds unite in between but that will be a separate review. To summarize the comic begins as the aftermath of worlds collide where sonic, his friends and even Eggman explore the world in the wake of the super genesis wave. Which there are overarching effects not only tears in the fabric of space and time but also an ancient doomsday prophecy is jump started as well. The world is shattered to pieces, and two ancient beings of light and darkness are awakened. And its up to sonic and his friends to restore the world complete and whole and along the keep eggman and his minions from taking advantage of the shattered world like using the power of the ancient evil spirit Dark Gaia or the chaos emeralds to further his plans. The next part in assessment is the pros and cons of this saga. And how this could have been improved or what worked and what did not.

    Well it seems they might drift, do their own thing, or fort some I had the displeasure politics. Though it seems to have become a hiatus.

    I feel honestly sally would abdicate her position as being a monarch if she was married to sonic tbh. Also, Bunnie and Antoine I think they can still be lovers but none of the marriage as they're dynamic can be malleable but at the same time unbreakable. I mean have them go through every rollercoaster worth of struggles as a couple via commiting to each without matrimonial ceremony and such. Have them go through jealously and sadness as well. I didn't mind them being married but I do sometimes think the there isn't much being used with it or what have you.
