Hey, Forces still sold more in Japan than Generations did in it's first week. It's a diligent effort.

Head up as you play, there is a stage that is really really cool. Gives me a huge goofy smile as I play.

I can safely say, there's nothing inherently wrong with Forces. It's mechanically sound, plays well, looks amazing, great music, it's fine. The only problem I have is the story and Classic Sonic.

I think Jackal Squad as a whole would be interesting in the IDW comics. Sonic Team actually took the chance to flesh out the world of Sonic, they'd be crazy not to jump on this new group of mercs.

Sometimes, I think of what a SatAM episode would be like with Metal Sonic...
I've imagined that, at first, it would just be a robotic clone of Sonic made by Robotnik, personality and all. Snarky, quips a lot, all that. But instead of following Robotnik's orders, he instead wants to show off how superior he is to Sonic.
Also, he used to be able to talk, but all the quips and such along with his hate for Sonic drove Robotnik to a point that he bolted on a muzzle. And then he becomes the Metal Sonic we all know and love, silent with teetering rage for the hedgehog.

Reviewer wasn't having it, bought a street date broken copy, and reviewed it because the embargo is null on street date broken copies. Polygon also adjust their reviews when a patch or update comes around.

If y'all haven't noticed, Sonic's doing another Twitter takeover, with Eggman and Shadow.
Some things we got:
- Shadow owns an Android phone.
- Shadow has NOT taken well to Infinite being edgier and better than he is.
- Sonic doesn't like Sonadow. Shadow hates it. Infinite also supports Sonadow...
- Eggman is still Cobanermani's adoptive father.
- Sonic and Eggman sing the Macarena.

For some reason I think it would be hilarious for it to say Shadow owned something ridiculous like a Windows Phone and a Zune - you know - because he’s an outcast on the edgiest edge of edgeville.

SEGA has confirmed that this is indeed the case. Though, that's rather curious, as Famitsu got their hands on the game. They gave Forces a 35/40 (9/9/9/8), which is actually higher than their score for Mania (that being 32/40). The patch notes for the day 1 update is also very... Curious. Turns out the base game was missing something you'd think it wouldn't miss, but I won't spoil.

Turns out Sonic Forces is breaking street date almost everywhere. Check your local retailer, it just might be there! Sonic Forces also is not having review copies sent out, take that as you will. I'll post sources later...

Yeah, it starts off really well and quite strong. But it suddenly becomes rushed and hastily put together. I still can't wait to get my hands on the game.
