Wulfsbane
Sonic Shuffle was a party game made for the Dreamcast between Sonic Adventure's 1 & 2, probably to combat the ever growing Mario Party. The game itself was okay but pretty fun. You could play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Chao, E-102, Useless Cat, and Super Sonic. Each had it's own special attacking move during battle and movement abilities. Instead of dice based, it was card based. You had the ability to gain/lose rings, battle some monsters, play mini games/event, etc. It was a good concept. So, this is two pronged in a way: Does anyone remember this game and also, what would you differently/how would you do this game today?
WarTraveller
The game was sort of around BEFORE I was born, so no I don't remember it. As for how the game would be today, simple; go shameless. Just fully copy Mario Party. Dice instead of cards, capsules instead of candies, emeralds instead of stars, rings instead of coins. The whole kaboodle. Normally this would be insane, but it might work in ones favour NOW more than ever. With Nintendo basically screwing up the very concept of a party game with Mario Party 9, and sticking to it with 10, a more traditional board-game style party game would be a welcomed addition. As long as the AI doesn't cheat, the minigames are fun and the character selection isn't dumb as hell. Seriously, who ever picked Blooper or Hammer Guy in Mario Party 8?
