DaddlerTheDalek
According to a LinkedIn profile for TV writer Grant Moran (whose credits include Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures and Batman), a new Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon was in the works between the months of May and October 2007, some 3 years after Sonic X concluded. No other details due to legal concerns. https://www.sonicstadium.org/2018/03/cancelled-2007-sonic-the-hedgehog-cartoon-details-surface/
WarTraveller
Dang, Daddler. You beat me to it. In all seriousness, though, this is an interesting What Could Have Been. With Moran's legacy of writing, this probably would have been a WEIRD weird show. Remember this was 2007. Only a year before the mandates began to set in, and long before the Post-Penders Nanny-State that the franchise would become. Imagine all the ideas they could've bounced off it this way. I do hope that these "legal concerns" are removed and he can go into more detail, see what it was really like and what ideas were being tossed around. Perhaps we could take those ideas and do something with them... OOOOOR maybe Sonic Boom took a few concepts and messed with them. Can't tell.
