A few months previous, Sonic Youtuber Sonicguru put out a sort of poll asking people what they thought the best characters in all of Sonicdom were. Now that the votes are counted up, he's making a list of videos to see who placed where and why. And I will add them all to this page, one by one, as the days go by.

Now, to avoid the page being littered with mounds and mound of video links (all of which are fairly massive and slow browsers to a halt and can't be resized because, well why the hell not), I will just have them as that, hyperlinks, with spoiler-text you can highlight to see who the character is...or, I WOULD if the spoiler function on this website wasn't so user-unfriendly. And that's it, folks. The top 30 characters in the franchise, according to the fanbase. I'm not gonna say I'm surprised...actually I'm just sort of disappointed in some of the choices.

I mean it's not surprising such a Top Something list is underwhelming, many are by their very concept as if giving something more value to it than others. Having a fan voted one has a lot of flaws in of itself for those who vote for characters as a joke or otherwise, not to mention which fans are exactly voting for it might and probably have more of a favor to one part of a series than others.

The very concept of this was doomed from the start if you ask me, I don't mean to be negative on this here but it's a very flawed notion to make such in the first place, overall you can't get all the answers and votes from every type of fan in Sonic. On that note having the main character being voted on kinda defeats the purpose of it as well.
