Mike Arcade
Alright Everybody, it's time to tell our tales of how we experienced Sonic during the decade of the 2000's. From Heroes to Aliens, Advances to Gizoids, Flames to Werehogs, Riders and Storybooks, tell your fellows why and what you liked in the era of semi-stability to decline, then picking up the pieces in the roughest decade in Sonic History. What was your favorite game in the 2000's era and why?
F07E
oooh this is tough, I loved advance 3, rush adventure was fantastic and worthy of my personal choice for being the end of the classic continuity, and riders 1 is basically colours and generations on loop. I guess I gotta go with heroes because it was the first 3D sonic game I ever owned, sooooo nostalgia wins this time.
Ishapar
May sound weird, but I think I have to go with Sonic and the Secret Rings. It was a different formula Sega tried and they took advantage of the movement sensor of the wii remote to make a Sonic game that has yet to be copied. The controls were hard, but at least you were physically involved with the game. The story was pretty interesting, and the party mode was plain fun! It's the one game I can get my mom and other adults to play and have fun! Heroes is probably second on the list. Unleashed is near the top, but I didn't like the werehog stages, and I missed the platforming aspects and the spindash of previous games.
MJ Knight
Sonic Unleashed. Good writing, decent pacing in script and gameplay and the animation was awesome
