I kinda like the design to be honest now that it has settled in. I do agree with the notion that there's a ton of character depth but not characteristic depth in the franchise. Alas with everything from Archie with the possible exception of the Freedom Fighters no longer going to be used they need to shore up the characters... even though they could just use the ones they had prior.

My main issue is how they introduced her. The first few days before the reveal it looked strikingly similar to Sally, which seems to have been their intention. Bold marketing strategy that got people talking but when you have a fan favorite in limbo and the silhouette looks identical to said character, ethically it might have not been the right move.

Course if Sally gets revealed in the next few days/weeks then it's a moot point

Also, notice how there's no cover for Issue #3 yet....

Again, they would have said something by now. Combing over the Facebook group, twiiter, reddit, etc. shows that there's quite a few fans riding on the notion that they're gonna be there and if not they're not gonna get a subscription.

If it's a new character, okay fine. No big issue since it's been said that there will be new characters.

I'm still sticking with "Sally with a bit of her fleetway design mixed in"

We see more of the mysterious character.

It kinda looks like a combination of Archie/SatAM's version of Sally with Fleetway's Sally... which would be interesting

I doubt the image is Tails... cause we all know he's gonna be there and has been announced.

The Hand could be jumbled a bit to throw people off base and let speculation run. Looking at it closer it feels the image itself is zoomed in and made to appear that way on purpose

Teaser could be Sally, it does kinda match her cheek fur

I mean Tracey isnt bad. I do agree that bringing just about everyone back basically looks like a tribute band but at the same time, starting with Tracey gives it a sense of familiarity

Ohh it gets even worse: Leaked documents showing they're using AI to change video games DURING gameplay to force micro-transactions

It's not only EA, it could be a lot of other companies too. This seems to be from an outside marketing firm trying to sell their AI/ad tech to execs at game companies

The game in the presentation is EA's Anthem... developed by BioWare. Because people know about this it will mean one thing: It's gonna end up like BattleFront 2 and could cause BioWare to shut down (EA isn't high on them anymore cause of Andromeda)

There are some discrepancies in the slides so it could either be a poor marketing firm that didn't proofread or fake but at the same time, considering the mobile gaming market and EA's recent ideas make this plausible

IDW has created a Facebook group for the Sonic Comic

I think this is a brilliant move by their part, they'll directly be able to hear from the fans themselves

Ya know, Futurama did a really good job with music in the series

We got some new news... and it's not necessarily good. Ian Flynn confirmed on BumbleKast that none of his characters from Archie will be returning at all in IDW Sonic.

You can pre-order the first volume now on Amazon for $16 (So the First 4 issues by my guess). It's titled "Fallout" and here's the description:

Free til the end of January and SEGA is allowing you to download it before then even if you don't have the game.

And let's be honest: at this rate the people who are getting the game either already have it or are getting it for Christmas

There's a rumor going around that Mania could be getting some DLC soon. Possibly a ton of new levels

Sounds like EA is attempting to do some damage control
