  1. Honestly, I’m holding a glimmer of hope it is Sal, I really do it’s her, but I’m getting the feeling they are doing a full reset and this is a new character or maybe the avatar from Forces. I think the best shot if you want them in the comic is to not buy it if they are not in it and be loud. They might be forced to do so, but don’t expect them to be the characters we know and love. However, I hope that I’m wrong, I really do. This coming from the person constantly called “The Negative Nelly” by my comrades since this debacle stared.

That all being said, we need to not eat Sega’s scraps; the characters will exist with us no matter what.

  2. I just don't see Sally in that image unless they put a bow on her head and gave her spines on her knuckles.... I guess we'll have to see on Wednesday.

Maybe I'm wrong; the only thing I can think of is those "spines" are fingers or a thumb and perhaps whoever that is is moving fast and thus in a "squash and stretch" situation.

For some reason, in my mind, I keep coming back to this character when I see that image; almost everything seems to fit that shadowed image.

Same I'll be saddened that they will not be with IDW but I'm optimistic as they will remain with us fans.

I'm expecting them to not have them other than perhaps cameos, Easter eggs, and/or background characters at best, but I'm hoping for the best. We're just going to have to wait and see; I feel strung-along to be honest.

But yes, we will have them as fans if we don't let them die.

Updated this topic to be about Playstation in general. *

Anyone here get a PS1 on its launch year? Any fond memories?

Got my PS1 about half way through the cycle; but it was one that still had the expansion port on the back you could hook up dubious hardware.

And yes, there are a lot of fond memories: Alundra I and II, Twisted Metal II, Test Drive 5 and 6, Need For Speed II, Medal of Honor, Legends of the Deep, Ace Combat, Gex series, CART World Series, Triple Play '98, etc...

  5. It does look a bit dubious, but then that wouldn't be the final product either, so it definitely is likely with their current direction and apparent business model.

We as the consumer just have to quit buying games that do this; look out for one another and warn other gamers. Eventually they'll get the picture.

  6. Personally, I thought it was okay, not spectacular, but entertaining nevertheless. I think people have: 1. Set the bar too high as far as their expectations, and 2. It's a beloved franchise and no matter wot they did people were going to give them static over it. That being said, in my opinion neither of the recent films outside of Rogue One will never be distinguished in the annals of film making. To be honest this last one felt like a money grab, and it worked, but eventually the fans will eventually quit buying tickets for mediocre entertainment; at least I hope so....
