  1. Caleb observed the situation and sighed to himself, quite upset by the siitation and the treatment. Before he could step in, he noticed the mustached man observing him. Seeking to end this without cinflict, he approached, within a perfectly long enough distance to still talk and asked. "I'm sorry sir, is there a problem?"
  2. Over the long mule ride, Caleb was mainly silent, observing the surroundings of a place he's never been, at one point, he rested on top of the mule, getting back a bit of sleep he lost while watching the flowers boil. He woke again by the time they reached the towers, hoping he didn't miss anything important from her stories. Seeing the towers up ahead, he listened to her speak. "Well, better closer there than farther. Let's see what we can find around here."
  3. Because of his previous doubt, Caleb was surprised to see how well Mujha was able to tame the stubborn mule. His expression changes to a surprised looking smile. "I'll say. Impressive, Mujha." He's soon caught off guard when the mule nudges him, watching him, lowering his bottom half. "Well...if he's going to so polite." He gently sat on him, having had a bit of experience around equines before.
  4. "You're welcome." He smiled kindly before following her advice, gathering the few items he left out on the campsite for cooking or other uses. Upon getting ready, he approached her again, looking a bit skeptical at how this mule could transport us there that fast.
  5. "Of course! You'll feel just as new when I'm done." He finished quite quickly, smiling with a bit of pride as he sees how well he did healing her.
  6. Caleb had been watching the pot closely for a hour or so before his need for sleep overcame him, and he had to curl up sleep in front of the fire. He woke shortly after Mujha did, smelling the strange sent. Turning to see Mujha sturggling to get up. "Morning. I'm fine, but you need attention now." He took the pot full of newly created salve, and approached Muhja. "Stay still." Soon, he began carefully applying it to the visible wounds on her.
  7. See, I want to try, but I can't afford a decent microphone or headset. The one I have cuts me out all the time.
  8. After easily securing the white flowers, Caleb returned to the fire, seeing that Mujha appears to know what to do for this situation. Using the same container the water was boiled in, Caleb dropped in the flowers and set it over the fire.
  9. He smiled with a bit of pride and shrugged, "You have to be prepared for anything out here." Standing up, he stretched and walked towards the road, "I'll grab the flowers really quick, alright?"
  10. Caleb raised an eyebrow upon looking at the crates of items that were marked to sell. He was curious what they were, but it's not important. "I can see what you mean. I love traveling too, because-" He paused and listened upon noticing her pained expression. "No magic at the moment for this. But, I did see some white flowers down the road, that if boiled, will make an excellent treatment."
  11. Caleb took note of her pained expression, but assumed it was too uncomfortable to talk about, and thus avoided that topic. "Well, nowadays at least, I'm more of a traveler. Not just for this...item of mine...but in general. I'm a traveling performer. I set out on this journey after a visit home. And yes, at least I hope it's there."
  12. Caleb had also made sure to boil the water and cool it before any consumption, to make sure it was completely clean. With the peace of the meal, he stared into the fire, wondering about the item he seeked so badly, and...maybe fantasizing a little about the praise he could get upon returning it home to his family. Soon though, Mujha's speech snapped him out of it and he looked up at the sky as well. "Oh, the stars? Sorry if I'm not impressed enough, but you get a little used to them."
  13. Caleb nodded in response. "Just let me gather some meat for the campsite and I'll be right with you." Wielding his dagger again, he approached the beast, carving off some meat to cook shortly. Once enough for two has been gathered, he followed after her.
  14. "Of course. It'd be nice to sleep somewhere that's not infested with who-knows-what for one night." Caleb looked at the water again, and back upon the bird. Upon some more examination, an idea sprang in his head. "Actually...I think the water down-stream will be safe. And the bird itself was in a healthy condition. Could make a filling meal tonight."
  15. [+4 Wisdom, +2 Survival] "It seems like a good idea, I haven't explored this Qadesh at all, though from recent memory, I'm...not familiar with it." Once the thought entered his mind, Caleb realized he was partly thirsty as well. Eagerly, he turned towards the lake, only to be disgusted and disappointed by the tainted water. He did carry a little bit left, but seeing that Mujha was out, he thought it'd be best to be generous. Reaching for a canteen of his, he takes it and offers to to her. "It's not much left, but you should have it all."
  16. "I do like a good joke, heh. I'm Caleb Kayne, the illusionary performing master! I'm not headed anywhere exactly...mainly, I'm looking for something important to me. I've been searching all over for it for weeks, ever since it was taken from me..." He said as he looked to the sky, reminded of the item so important to him.
  17. The half elf was nearly out of breath. His final, show-stopping attack could've ended so poorly, but it paid off most spectacularly. He smiled a bit smugly at his victory, wiping off and sheathing his dagger until the next battle. Upon hearing Mujha suddenly speaking to him, he turned around to face her. Her wounds seemed troubling, but he figured they can be easily treated soon. At the very least, he was pleased to know she was alright, his smiling turning more warm and friendly. "Yes, I can speak Common. Thank you! Always happy to know my audience has been pleased."
  18. [Epic music time] From his fingers shot two dart-like blasts of forceful magic energy, one directly after the other, towards the beast like an arrow of lighting. The first shock was enough to wound the bird lethally, but the second seared the already burnt flesh enough to slice deep into the bird's upper neck and head. The beast spluttered and garbled a final screech of pain only briefly before its neck splayed, ripping with a spray of red mist as it's head slid from off its severed neck. With a dying echo and a feather-tossing thud, the scene grew eerily quiet, the whirlwind of Ravens breaking up as fast as a fog in the noon sun. The head rolled directly on the ground, its eyes still bulging open in fiery glare as it trickled ichor over the ground. "Heh." He began to boast. "Looks like I'm having roast chicken for dinner."
  19. With a groan of lingering pain, the half elf was brought back to reality through the water dripping on his shoulder. Looking up at its source, his face turned to disgust upon seeing the source actually being the blood from the bird. The situation doesn't look promising, but he shows a grin of anticipation, the drama of the scene perfect to end it. After quickly standing up,a snap of his fingers a sparkling light appears from his finger, and with a short spin, it is aims and fires at the creature's neck.
  20. This half elf smiles to himself, not wanting to hold back anything that's less than exciting. With the creature distracted by summoning it's hordes of servants, the man speaks again in the eleven tounge, gesturing with his hands until a surge of almost lightning like power surges from his hand and grasps at the spot on the bird closest to its wing. He looks up as the sparks fly off its body, trying to surge through it.
  21. Seemingly out of nowhere, an assailant appears, a shadowy, unknown figure new to the field. Steeping up to the fight is a half elf, his clothes torn, and body dusty from whatever he has endured so far. This man attempts to attack the beast with Acid Splash. The bright, wet sparks from the Catrip's strike are making an eerie glow around the beast, improving its threatening look.
  22. Epic Mickey Synopsis: A long time ago, the visionary Walt Disney broke into animation with his beloved cartoon creation...Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Don't remember him? A lot of people don't. Which is why the wizard Yensid (from Fantasia) created a realm for forgotten cartoon characters, and Oswald was the first resident. As the world was finally finished, Disney's champion character, Mickey Mouse, finds Yensid's workshop. Using the wizard's magic paintbrush, Mickey unintentionally creates the monstrous Shadow Blot and causes great destruction to the forgotten world, rendering it a Wasteland. Years later, after Mickey's fame skyrocketed, the Blot has pulled him back into Wasteland, intent on stealing his heart and escaping into the Cartoon World. Now weidling Yensid's magic paintbrush, Mickey can choose to either restore Wasteland or destroy it as he journeys home, soon encountering Oswald, his jealous "brother". Likes: This game is basically a combination of ideas from various video games, the expansive worlds of Mario and Banjo-Kazooie, sidequests reminiscent of Zelda and RPGs, and a morality system in someways similar to Infamous or Undertale (but with less of an impact). The story is this game's best feature, reviving many underrated Disney characters as Mickey tries to help them. The paint mechanic is particularly great. You can use Paint to restore objects, enemies or bosses, or Thinner to destroy them and this can have an effect on how Mickey acts in game, depending on your actions, Mickey either remains a hero, or returns to his mischievous roots. Dislikes: This game is by no means flawless. The camera is abysmal and disrupts gameplay several times. This game also has an annoying habit of locking you out of sidequests if you screw up. It's supposed to make your decisions for the ending final, but that could've been done better. Would I recommend it? To platformer lovers and Disney enthusiasts, yes, I would. Though this game is very much a love it-or-hate it game. Keep an open mind when trying it.
  23. Well, I wasn't sure if there was going to be voice acting or not, tbh, but I'm open to it. Not until I know for sure.
  24. Everything I've personally seen about this project looks really, really cool, I'm really happy you've put so much effort into it so far. Here's hoping we see a finished game out of it. If possible, there are things I wanna help with too! (voices, designs, etc.)
