Leon's Grand Slam, I don't know what is with me and wanting to play games about my favorite characters in strange circumstances but I think I'm developing one with Leon themed games. I think I'll create a playlist about Leon being put in all these weird circumstances. This game is odd and not for everyone. Be careful if you decide to make a video on it, it has a lot of copyrighted material. I just put in my own copyright free music which has become a staple in my channel.

Prometheus on Blue-Ray, the gifts of all gifts. Where do you find these weird games? You do a pact with Chuthulu to be a beta tester? 😝

I feel like you are getting more a unique voice with strange and peculiar experiential  games.

Is there a way to change the color of the sign-in area? I like the contrast that the green text provides on the dashboard.

Yes. I don’t think they support gradients anymore which is a bummer. So I change it will be flat color. Try the Bright theme some time and see how you like it.

The new layout looks good overall, but now the sign-in button doesn't show for me. Doesn't matter if I use Firefox or Chrome; same result.

Yeah that sign in button is pretty faint. The New Darker Theme I made is more visible. I am going to see what I can do with this version. Perhaps you can help me with making the home icon bigger. I am not sure why it shrunk. Been checking IPS.

Had to balance working on the site the other day while also writing a letter to my local government for a hearing about solar panels (with a lot of questionable pork) while juggling college reopening., and work I have a lot more free time this weekend and will keep improving on the format.

  4. Okay

@Wulfsbane@MoKat@Mike Arcade - How is the new Darker Theme? Please test it out for me. I am having problems with getting the logo to size. I am also intrested in redesigning it now that I know how to use Illustrator. This seems interesting as well - https://invisioncommunity.com/news/community-management/theme-tip-replacing-forum-icons-with-images-r973/

I thought it would be visually appealing to replace the icons with relevant thematic ones. Anything else you think we can do to further theme the site?

Well for writing experience I have decent amount of fanfic under my belt, (at least 30), materialize we're still planning things out, at the moment we have a small prologue and half of the first chapter. We also have several google documents were we plan the overall story.

I could PM you more details.

    Feel free to. 🙂

He's the one who told me about this site, we've been going back and forth sharing ideas. I meant writing wise.

I can help. It just depends on how you want to do this. You want to make sure this stays in your hands creatively. How much writing experience do you have currently? And how much material do you have right now? If you can give me a small pilot of ten pages, I can really get a feel of what you’d like to accomplish.

I feel like that should stay separate as that can be used in other instances

I would say so, as it is a software used to mechanics gameplay. Which is in the thematic realm of that topic. Character sheets seem to be a part of that conversation, but probably cannot stand as a whole for constantly flowing and lively topic.

If things ever get busy in the future in that thread in a convoluted way - we can simply split it into two threads pertaining to hardware and software. Or we can do that now. It’s up to you.

    @Mike Arcade, @Wulfsbane, @MoKat

I motion a merging, with a thematic split between hardware and software in mind of things grow too busy.

Thank you for the offer! Do you by any chance have a Discord account?

Not presently, last time I checked. I prefer to use PM’s and forums due to their permanence and ease of organization. Small talk and such creates a lot of chaff. When you work over a series of projects and 10K pages of material it can be quite the headache to manage. 😬

  9. You have a concept that has a lot of meta fictional and philosophical subtext potential. The idea of being in a fragmented soap-bubble micro verse is also interesting. I am typically busy with my own projects and art, however I can offer, as I do with many, editorial help and writing advice. I have roughly 13 years of experience writing, written thousands of pages of fiction, a BFA, and have published in high school and college. I would be happy to help any way I can as a creative advisor.

Already did, and asked the question. XP

How would you do it though Wolfsbane? Seriously, just about anything would be an approvement.

First things first, there has to be some sort of light hearted breather. And one area that has not been explored enough in Sonic is the challenges of rebuilding. There is a lot of drama actually in piecing things back together. You can also get more character drama out of it, Star Trek Next Generation style. I would be fun to have to deal with some weird culture that was fractured because of the outbreak, and there is now a dramatic power struggle to thrust on the characters. Ideas?

  11. Merged some threads together. Overall this thread is still about the state of the video game industry, it’s contentions, trends, and possibilities. If you have an idea of where video games are going, should go, have gone wrong, etcetera, this is the place.

Don't mind me guys, just wanted to post this up here. It's from the Sonic 25th Anniversary Art Book and this was shown in a preview of it online that while has been up here and there aren't in the wikis bar a closer look at the concept art of "Madness Mountain" and Death Egg and I just wanted to post that up here.

But hey let's give some a piece of Sonic 1's concept art here some love too.

    lEK2oa9.jpg

I didn't notice but in Sparkling Zone (Spring Yard Zone) they have a weird giant hand creature there. XP

Okay so I found the bigger, more higher quality picture exempts from the art book online. What I find funny is that the Sonic wiki DOES use a lot of them for obvious archive reasons yet doesn't for a bunch of Sonic 2's Concept art. They're the same as up above though with a much closer look though to save space I'm gonna put them in a spoiler tag so this topic doesn't get too cluttered.

Seeing art like this is important. It helps us see what the intent was despite technological limitations of the Genesis. The colors, and more complex designs and forms, should be the gold standard for anyone seeking to make more up to date iterations of classic Sonic material. Good work finding this stuff, Mike.
