    Haven't been around that much lately, well, I thought I'd revisit this thread with another old animated film. A bit ago I ran into this almost 30 year old French animated science fiction/psychological film call Gandahar or (Light Years in the U.S.). I love the dark and brooding atmosphere throughout the that is not too dissimilar from SatAM in many ways. Gandahar really is not well known of outside of those who watch animated films that are not aimed at the child audience. The animation is excellent, but very European, i.e. great, but might seem a bit off for the casual American viewer. Also, the vocal talent is excellent as well with a lot of mid '80s star power. What really gets me is the writing and the science fiction and psychological aspect throughout; genetic manipulation, transmutation of living things, man versus machines, etc.... Despite its rarity it can easily be found on many streaming sites like YouTube, so do yourself a favour and lose yourself in a first-rate story.

    If I could I'd like it to have the SatAM lore/comic from issue 20-74. I know realistically that's a pipe dream, so I'm one, for me at least, if it continues being SoJ/ games based then I would like for them to leave the SatAM cast out; I'm sick of how they've been basically defiling their memory as of late in Archie.

    It happened a little quicker than I thought it would; Sega has decided to strike when the iron was hot, so it seems; this will be interesting how IDW/Sega handle it going forward.

    Like I said before, the only reason I could see that they are holding off on announcing it is because they'd have to refund subscription fees. It would behoove Archie a lot earlier to say that it was not cancelled because it's just leading to speculation and people saying that it's cancelled; they are ticking off their consumers this way. And a lot of the speculation is based on circumstantial evidence like the one I posted above, so people are seeing smoke and when you see smoke there is usually flame.

It’s a job that I like to do, but it has always been more like a secondary thing or a hobbie, because as much as I wanted, it is not something that give enough return to be my main job, maybe you understand how it is.     Still hoping that something good comes out of the negotiations; as long as they're talking there is still hope that the comic will survive and get better.
