  1. I'd be lying if I said Lifeline wasn't hard to get through but I felt like the journey was worth it (even if it felt like a crawl the entire time). A little backstory about this game, it was released in 2003 for the PS2 and its newest hardware add-on the PS2 Mic.
  2. I post every Monday Wednesday and Friday. From one Zelda fan to another thank you for your support. I'll have to get your brother to help you install a Zelda randomizer, I think you'll have a lot of fun with them.
  3. I love Nightmare Before Christmas. I have so many fond memories of watching it during the holidays and singing along to the Jack's Lament and Sally's Song. My least favorite Disney movie has to The Little Mermaid. It just never really float my boat.
  4. One of my absolute favorite games to get a remake Resident Evil 3. However, does it live up to the hype? Well if you read my review on it on this site then you know already lol. Here is the link anyways.
  5. "What even is this game?" Was constantly on my mind as I played this game. Its a very interesting title but its fun none the less and its inspired by my favorite meme to come out of the 20's. Hope you all have as much fun watching it as I did. On a side note Youtube's AI that is in charge of finding copyright content has a thing out for me (Que terminator music)
  6. My very first Let's Play and also a game that saved my life. How can a video game save someones life especially one knee deep in the controversy of possibly driving a child to suicide? Well, the exact opposite ironically enough. Doki Doki Literature Club was the first game I played in 3 years. After my father past away from cancer, my mother attempted suicide 2 months after my father died and was comatose for 5 months. I was a living wreck and was going bat guano. But then this little indie game came along and allowed me to really analyze all the horrors of my reality (See what I did there?) and I found myself...able to laugh again. I was able to enjoy something once again and I give this game all the credit for not only turning me away from my funk but also for giving me a second chance at a dream I have, to become a youtuber. This video quality is not good in anyway lol but It my first game as a youtuber and also my first attempt at trying to rebuild a broken life. I'm so proud of it and me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FFnk079u5Y
  7. Escape The Ayowaki was my first Let's Play since Doki Doki Literature Club. This is also the video where I found out just how much youtube compresses your file down when you upload. Its way darker in this video than I like but I have since learn ways to brighten videos to make them look better when you upload. This is the second most popular video on my channel (as of 2020) pass Sonic Adventure 2 Randomizer Hero. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzXzUJzvDr4&t=1987s
  8. Episode 1 of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. I've waited for this game since 2005. Does it deliver on my expectations? I plan to do a review on this site after I finish posting all my videos on it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7I78-K6jS1E&t=431s
  9. Depends on what you mean the most difficult. Zelda OOT Randomize is the most fun randomizer I have played. It flows really well and your difficulty depends on the Seed you generate. You can randomize doorways and that always adds a level of difficulty to the game. Everything else is based on luck. You might get the Biggerone sword first item drop or you could get an ice trap three straight treasure chest in a row. This is the randomizer I would recommend to anyone new to randomizers due to it being easy to download and use and also just how much fun it is. RE2 Randomizer is really fun but it has one really big problem. If you sequence break you can easily soft lock the game. For example, you have to get the knife from Marvin at the game. To do so you have to trigger Eliot. If you get a knife before you do that and open the gate at the RPD entrence enemies and items will not spawn for the rest of the game. Easy fix is just triggering Eliiot but if you do the clockwork puzzle before triggering Tyrant the game will not allow you to proceed to the sewers and thus you will have a dead seed where you can't beat the game. So it really a RE2 item scrambler more than a randomzier but still very fun. Windwaker Randomizer has too many spots for items. You have over 200 locations for items since they take into consideration the chest you can get in the ocean. However you only have about 17 useful story progressive items and thus most of the time you are getting crap items over the useful items and thus it becomes very tedious and time consuming. Twilight Princess Randomizer suffers the exact opposite for WIndwaker right now. You have to start at Ordon Village and have to get the sling shot to progress out of the game and get to the first dungeon. At Ordon Villiage you have maybe 5 locations the sling shot will spawn so you don't have to guess for long before you get the item you need. Its in early Alpha so I can forgive this randomzier. They need to open Hyrule Fields from the start and then it will probably be a randomzier to equal and possibly surpass ZOOTR. https://ootrandomizer.com/ http://benn-gaming.co.uk/re2randomizer.html Here is an episode from my Zelda OOT Randomizer playthrough
  10. I use a free program called OBS along with a capture card called Elgato 60 HD pro (Sadly not free. About 200$ dollars though I have seen them 60$ during a sale) Here is OBS. If you do a Let's Play series let me know and I'll look into your channel. https://obsproject.com/
  11. Here is my youtube channel which is growing each and everyday (Slowly, usually microscopically evolving) please if you enjoy my content give me a like, sub, and share with your friends. I have big plans with turning this channel into something I will cherish forever. -Best, Nagol Channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfcdPb9QeKue84d4jjkXBEQ?view_as=subscriber Resident Evil 3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUZk8NwzNCQ&t=4s Sonic Adventure 2 Rando Mod
  12. This is my non spoiler review of Resident Evil 3 (2020) on PC Overview- Resident Evil has always been a series near and dear to my cold undead heart. Credit mus be given to the game for stopping my ticker for the first time, giving me my very first anxiety attack at nine years old Raccoon City is like my blood soaked summer home that I've always wanted and anytime I can once again frolic down the moaning streets of the doomed city, I know I am in for a good survival horror experience. Capcom has blessed us with another REmake of a classic having found a good concoction of fun game play and suspense filled dark corridors, they have given the much needed face lift to there early 2000's survival horror title Resident Evil 3. Will 2020's Resident Evil 3 stand up to the test of time? Or fall victim to the disastrous decisions of a corporate overlord? Synopsis- Jill Valentine, now ex STARS Alpha Member wakes up in her new york style studio apartment. She seems disheveled, her mind twisting from the unanswered questions from the mysteries and horrors she escaped just months ago. She hasn't eaten or slept in what the game describes as days. (Though the game starts with you waking up on your desk and a half eaten box of pizza on the table.) Not long after splashing some water on her face the phone begins to ring through the dark silent apartment. Jill's former STARS partner and pilot Brad Vicker screams at Jill about a hostile situation unfolding in there once peaceful city of Raccoon City. Just as Jill is arming herself for the dangers ahead she hears a knocking through her neighbor's wall as the hulking nemesis charges through. The hunt has begun. Characters Jill Valentine- The seasoned STARS member is back and she is more than qualified to deal with the next outbreak to infect the rolling hills of the Arklays. Her demeanor when not burden by the professionalism of officer duty is one of snarkiness and disdain for anyone or anything affiliated with the Umbrella corporation. Go figure. Carlos Oliveira- Less of a boy scout this time around, Carlos along with other members or UBCS (Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service) seem to be having issues containing the biohazard threat the populates the city. Carlos reminds me of a combination of Chris Redfield during his bolder punching days and David Dutten from the Crazies survival instincts and love for one's partner. Nemesis- We can't talk about characters without including the big bad himself. Nemesis is a tyrant and i mean that both ways. He will stalk you throughout Raccoon City with his one eye on the prize...you. He comes out of the murky dark like a shark and like any primal predator he hits hard and is unforgiving in his carnage. Mikhail- Mikahil has always been a favorite character of mine in RE3. There is an untold story with his rough and tough former soviet soldier who is voiced by William Hope who played lieutenant Gorman from the movie Aliens. There are many aliens references in this game and I encourage anyone who is a fan to spot the one between Mikhail and Gorman. Mikhail in UBCS is commanding officer of the last surviving members of the small pocket resistance left to deter the undead. Nikolai-I personally left out Nikolai in the character data base since I feel like I can't really say anything without spoilers. I will attempt to give more info without spoilers in my like/dislike section. Likes- Game play is the shinning jewel of the last two Remake games. What worked for 2 works just as well for 3. Gun play is fun and flows well with the controls and you have an arsenal to blow all the baddies away in colorful shrapnel filled ways. Character wise, the game has had an impressive upgrade with voice acting and writing from its 2000's counterpart as one would hope for in a modern AAA game. But what was unexpected is that the story feels better writing than even Remake 2 which only came out about a year ago. Capcom defiantly has come along way from "You were almost a Jill Sandwhich" territory. Enemy designs are great and Nemesis is a downright menace every time you see him. Crooked nose and all you feel like you are in the presence of an unstoppable terminator that wants nothing more than to kill you deader than the undead outside. Speaking about the undead a few new models were through into 3 but overall I'm disappointed in the zombies. I'll comeback to that later. I don't want to spoiler anything but Jill encounters a new enemy type in the sewers that had me absolutely giddy at its reveal. The redesign on this bad body made for an intimidating encounter and is one of my favorite overhauls of a previous enemy in a game. REplayable for many countless hours of fun obliterating enemies with some amazing firepower. Dislike- I can sum up my dislike in about one sentence "Why oh why would you cut that from the game?" REmake 3's biggest let down for me was that it cut out some of the best content that made RE3 stand the test for time. I can't really reveal without spoilers but its a lot of things, and they are missed dearly. I had one possible hope (if you can call it that cause I hate paid DLC) in that Capcom would include it later as DLC but Capcom has announced no new plans on any new content. This is the biggest and most painful part of REmake 3. Gripe- Not as bad as cut content but still kind of painful was the lack of results from REplay. Now what do I mean by that? I mean you can farm for end game items at the end of the game by just doing mediocre tasks that involve Resident Evil's ambassador system instead of getting omega awesome tier weapons by running the gauntlet that is S+ rank. Now I degraded this from a dislike to a gripe because this does give many players who don't have the time or skill to get an S+ rank to get all the amazing weapons but I like a challenge. I like blowing off zombies bodies with a missile launcher knowing I earned this carnage. Dodge mechanics are dodgy at best (Hehe see what I did there?) now RE3 2000's didn't have the best controls when it came to the dodge mechanic but that was due to limited hardware and camera being stuck to a camera like perspective. REmake 3's dodging is very unreliable due to it not registering in time and the hit box on the enemies being outlandish. Unless you are coming off the side of a zombie 9 times out of 10 even if you hit dodge you will get bitten. I never got bitten more times in a Resident Evil game than this one attempting to dodge a bitter. I gave up on using the mechanic early in the game and did not miss it. Zombies are the exact same models I killed in RE2. Excluding a few new models it seems like Raccoon City's population consisted of the same 5 people. A little variety never hurt. While we are at it reduced zombie death carnage from 2. In Remake 2 you could blow off zombie limbs. in Remake 3 those limbs stayed attach no matter how much superior firepower you throw at them. Nikolai is better at being an asshole than being a villain. There I said it! Before you disown me for spoilers. Its obvious from the get-go that Nikolai was evil and his motives are for his own selfish greed. His character feels flat though I will say his design is menacing and great. I just wish Capcom added more depth to this character instead of "I'm the evil character and I killed innocent people and feel nothing because of GREED!!!!" I can see why Umbrella hired him. Nemesis, the hulking death machine can't handle 1 grenade zombie bodies explode for now reason at one point of the game (Like...I know its to save hardware space but could you have been more creative?) Ending felt empty and unsatisfying Would I recommend this game? If you are a down right fan boy. I say sure, but only if you look at it as a REimagining and not a REmake. Capcom sold us what they said was a remake but in the end of the day anyone who has played the original is going to prefer that version to this. Now I'm not saying its not fun. You can enjoy the game and I plan to play thorough it over on all the added difficulty settings but if this was a new player who wants to experience what made RE3 so coveted in the early 2000's. I recommend that version over this. REmake 3 feels more like a tech demo than an actual game worth 60$. If you want to check out my gameplay here is the link. I plan to do more reviews on this site and games on my channel so if you like my content give me a like and subscribe. It encourages me to keep making content.
  13. If you were lucky enough to own a play station in the mid 90's you will have no doubt have heard about Capcom's most frightening contribution to the Survival Horror genre, Resident Evil. Many 90's kids still remember the feeling of dread when a zombie moan pierced through the silent dark room of there parents basement. Always wondering if the next corner was going to lead them down a corridor to there demise! I'm opening this thread for fans of Resident Evil to share there thoughts of the game. Both past, present, and future. And it doesn't need to stay just in the video games. Fan of the CGI films or live action shi.... movies? Let it be heard! Have a video talking about theories or a fan fiction? Post it! Here is a spot for everyone to freely express there love/hate for one of the most infamous of survival horror titles. Remember....the faint sound of foot steps outside your door are probably not those of survivors....
  14. Sorry for the quiet treatment lately guys. The power supply on my computer blew and to make matters worse, my mother who has been on sick leave since 2016 was wrongfully terminated from her job. I'll spare you the details but I am probably going to have to work with a lawyer on filing a wrongful termination lawsuit unless I can talk some sense into my mother's employers.

  15. Wiggle your antenna invaders! The mighty Irkin empire is back. At least we hope so. Many sources such as Nickelodeon themselves dropped a huge surprise on people today with the reveal of a teaser trailer for a 90 minute long Invader Zim movie. Such news has made many fan's wet there pants in excitement. Who can blame them since we haven't heard from our green overlords since nickelodeon dropped the show back in early 2000. Although such great news comes with some doubt. Nick dropped the show back in 2002 blaming budget cuts as the culprit for not seeing a season 3. However, series creator Jhonen Vasquez claimed that Nick was basically bullying him into making new episodes by locking him in a cubical and forcing him to work like a slave. Vasquez even stated that he would never work with Nick again...however, that seems to no longer be the case since we have just received a teaser trailer along with confirmation that Vasquez will be behind the creation. They also are bringing back the original voice actors such as Richard Steven Horvitz (Zim) Rosearick Rikki Simons (Gir) and Andy Berman (Dib,) how could anything go wrong? Well considering that Jhonen stated he never would work with Nick again makes you wonder why the sudden change of heart? Vasquez decided to give there relationship one last chance? Nick become more open-minded to Vasquez's work schedule, Or maybe money has become tight and they both figured they could make a buck by riding the newest money-train of reviving long dead shows from our childhood like they were injected with T-Virus. We will be waiting with eagerness to see if this 90 minute long movie will be all that us fans have been waiting 15 years for. -Nagol

  17. Recently while stumbling through the mass collection of video media known as youtube, I came across a game channel like none other. This channel belongs to a youtuber who calls himself Shesez and his channel is dedicated to breaking boundaries of video games in search of hidden easter eggs and secrets. This segment (Ironically called Boundary Break) allows people to appreciate the art and know-how of there favorite video games and even gives would be programmers insight into the creative knowledge of video game design. I'm making this post for two reasons) 1. To give a shout out to a youtuber who shows a keen passion for video game art while keeping his channel clean and entertaining (Seriously this man deserves a watch and even a subscriber if you like his material) and 2. To give you guys a place to incorporate your favorite easter eggs, secrets, and game development techniques for everyone on the forum to enjoy. If you know of a youtuber with an obsession for secrets or know of a hidden gem in games, please by all means leave a post. I'm leaving you with an episode of boundary break for us Sonic enthusiast but Sonic is far from the only games he has covered. -Happy Holidays and stay safe, Nagol
  18. Jarvis peeking out from the cliffs waited for his opportunity. As the crossbowman loaded another bolt Jarvis let his arrow fly. Attack (8+3) The arrow Jarvis released found its target, taking the man's head clean off. Blood gushed from the opening in an eruption of blood. Those whom were too close became drenched in the hot fluid. Jarvis turned to Layla "Don't loose your head" He appeared pleased with himself.
  19. Thanks everyone for the advice Its rough and was written in one sitting (as are most of my school papers lol) but I plan to revise and keep your advice in mind.
  20. [Moderate Language] [Idealogically Sensistice Content] ----- This is a short piece I've done for my Non-fiction class. This event happened about 5 years ago, just a few months before graduating high school. Anyone may read it and if you have an idea to make it better, by all means share away. Just note that this is a first draft and is pretty rough. -Nagol JonesTheNote.docx
  21. Jarvis: "We're in luck. Pirates. By the rules of initiating battle conduct *Which I may or may not have wrote just now* any stolen good looted by a pirate becomes fair game to whoever kills said pirate. (Pirates POV) Tim the pirate never really cared for the life of piracy. Though the plundering had its moments and the rum was always a welcome sight, In his heart Tim always wanted to be a dentist. That was until that fateful encounter that claimed his good eye, forever ruining his chances of getting into dentistry school. Tim felt the cool brush of sea water kicking back from his rowing. In an attempt to keep the salt from coming up and hendering his vision, he tilted his head slightly down towards his feet. By the footing of one of his fellow crewmen was a single gold coin, unclaimed by anyone. Tim: "Tooday Musst Be me lucky d-" Attack (13+2) Jarvis felt his muscle tense to the strain from pulling back his bow. Once the four pirates came into view, the arrow was released. It found itself lodged into one of the pirates eye sockets. The pirate rose to his feet, laid off a horrified scream before tumbling over the ship and into the deep blue. Jarvis: "Three left."
  22. (Initiative 17+3) Jarvis throws Layla her belongings as he quickly grasps the bow clinging to his breast. With one twist the bow is readied with an arrow pointed toward the upcoming mass. Jarvis: "All I need is to see the whites of there eyes. This arrow will be the last thing they see."
  23. [Perception check, 8(+3)] Jarvis observes strange figures dance around the ship. The storm obscured what was unfolding but Jarvis noticed something coming forward. He heard the sounds of an oar making contact with the salty sea. Jarvis-"Seems like I'm going to be needing your assistance after all." Jarvis cut the ropes that bound Layla. "Don't try anything funny."
  24. Jarvis- Realizing he hit the poor girl a little too hard, Jarvis applied a cold bottle of ale to her eye along with a another bottle filled with water to wet her dried throat. Jarvis- "So...Layla....I think we got off on the wrong foot. I'm Jarvis. You heading to Lower Qadesh as well? What business do you have here? You mentioned life and death, sounds serious." Jarvis sat by the tied women as he gave her a swig of the water, whilst also pressing the ale to his lips, rotating it back and forth between her eye and his mouth.
