  1. I just feel into a glitch, in Sonic Racing: Transformed. It's in the Afterburner level. I somehow clipped through a wall of a destroyed boat and got caged inside. Thankfully, the game automatically fixes it if something like that goes too long. Still ended up in seventh place to tenth place though. Oh shoot! 😒

Steam 커뮤니티 :: Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Collection

I wish I got that in the game! I'd come in first place! 😝

@SGT Rock Vox@Sorzo - I tag you guys to share some glitch stories.

It's funny how much beautiful fantasy places are inspired by real life. New Zealand has basically inspired not just the Lord of The Rings movies, but also Narnia's films too.

@Sorzo Tattoine still exists to this day in Tunania, North Africa. It's tourist hotspot. Which is good, because there ain't nothin' else there but dirt an' dust! 😅

  3. I went to By-water Orchard and Pumpkin Patch in Georgetown Kentucky the other day. It was really worth going. I went there once on a tour to see how they grow pumpkins. Learned a lot. Help watch the kids in our church group, got a bump on my head for all my trouble. Went down a slide with @KlayaThePitbull nephews and got smacked with the lip of the closed tube-slide. 🤪 At this age, I prefer the country store and the hayrides. Bough a peck of Joangold apples, and sugar free apple butter.  Corn Maze is really fun, especially during the night tour. I think @IronCheeze has already talked about our run in with some guy dressed up as the headless horseman one year.

@Wulfsbane You doing anything fun lately? You just finished vacation, right? Do you have anything to share?

  4.  I just really started playing the games! Really like them. I came to the Sonic fandom later in my life. I am no kid, and been adult for a while, but Sonic is so, so for everyone. It has a lot for everybody, and so many different versions of its stories. It's you guys who actually got me into it so much. It started with the multiplayer games, which are real fun, by the way. There are lot of friendly people in the fandom, happy to bring you in. Being invited to the new Sonic movie by @Mike Arcadeand @TheRedStranger really got me into the other stuff more seriously. Just starting to watch the cartoons, like Tyson's Mania Adventure's and Team Sonic Racing: Overdrive. Colorful characters, and visual gags always make me laugh. Reminds me of the old Loony Tunes cartoons I use to watch when I was a child, but more fast on the punchline. It's good to be able to watch some wholesome stuff nowadays! I am not fan of a lot of new stuff on Netflix, especially with garbage like Cuties out there. 🤮 I just bought an Archie comic volume, and plan to get more. But everyone, and I mean all my friends in the fandom, are telling to watch the Saturday morning cartoon from the nineties.

I will watch it soon, I promise! :DirectEsteemedAlpaca-max-1mb:

  5. If I had a time machine, you would want to see the future too. But I'd really like to go back and time and see the early discovery of America. During the Christopher Columbus days, and see the early Caribbean. I bet it's not the way the history books nowadays says it is either way. Yeah, I think a lot of that stuff has been politicized and taken out of context, either way. The natives don't sound like they were very great to Columbus and vice versa all the time. We all make mistakes, especially in groups.

I'd love to do some genealogy and see my ancestors, see what made me me. My great, great, great grandparents might be people I don't know, but they are still apart of me. Their choices influence you in a lot of ways. I am who I am today, not just because my choices but there choices. We don't choose where we live at first, we don't choose first language, and we don't choose our first beliefs. Knowing more about your personal history, lets you have more control over those things.

    @WarTraveller - I tag you to go next! 😃

Let me tell you of the days of high adventure in a far off place, in a far off time...

A veil of darkness has long lingered about the lands of Amerigó, snaking through its constitution like some foul affliction. Great swaths of myasthma trail the ravaged-lands, a vile corruption swarming with ancient eldritch creatures, just outside your homeland. Your hallowed forests have long protected you from the evils of those vile mauve mists, but this tenuous harmony is soon to be shattered. You all are common Mobians, perhaps of disparate tribe and creed, converged by happenstance in the sprawl that is the Great Forest, the Magna Viridia, and forced to explore outside the lush refuge of your homeland. War has split your paradise in twain, the Ro’den, the vile and venomous undermobians, have risen from the bones of the earth to pluck the fruitful plunder of the surface world. Your most sacred forge-grounds have been violated by their greed and they gather strength about all the denizens of the trees and shade underneath, raiding, enslaving, and subjecting all that stand to resist their invasion, fueled by dark and mysterious powers the likes none of you have ever seen…

Oh common hunter, oh humble forger, now comes the age of heroes, now comes the day stone is napped into spear, branch stretched into bow, and tree is hewn into shield. Shall you take up arms for your peoples? Shall you unite tribes against the vermin infecting the bowls of the earth? Or will this be the day you venture beyond into the unknown edge only to find your end and the death of Mobius’s future therewith…

All this is up to you primal adventures alone...

Sonic Hopes of Yesterday is a series of story ideas that take place in the legends and lore of the EoT Universe, a continuation of Sonic Satam. Before the Coupe, before Sonic first blazed against the Great Planes, these stories explore the blurry line between myth and history in this world and its rich lore. Whether your characters and stories will become canon or not may largely remain ambiguous so many can plays these stories over and have different conclusions, yet still imagine them into the background of the series as they experience the canonical stories. However, those who are really exceptional in their storytelling may indeed become canon amidst the legends. Here are the ground rules:

Okay guys. Since so many people want to join I am going to split this into two groups. Party A & Party B. At some time these teams can interchange members if desired.

    1) We will be doing turns in a novel like format that builds off everyone's posts. You write in Third Person and in Past Tense. Your creativity will win you Inspiration and DM favor (advantages on rolls and such). Inspiration is a great little reward I give out for clear grammar, rule keeping, clever prose, player courtesy,  and general creativity. To do so you must:

    • Describe your character's emotions and altitude.
    • Focus on your character's intent and how others might perceive it.
    • Provide as much embellishment as you feel relevant to your character, including accents, gestures, and expressions.
    • No meta-gaming text. Do not make this sound like you are playing a video game and are an outside observer. You are this character - you see as they see and believe as they believe.

    2) [Any text outside of role-play will be in brackets. Here I will request things of you sometimes and you can ask questions. Try not to break immersion though. You can PM me if its a big question.]

    3) Please use dice or a random number generator to determine your order of rolls during a combat encounter. You will be allowed to roll for your own dice in this game - I will not be rolling for you like other Post-by-post forums do. Your agency will determine the outcome just like in a live game. I trust you guys not to cheat...well you can't anyways. I am using a number-scrambling algorithm to make roll charts that turn 20's into 1's and 14's into 15's, and so on and so forth, each turn (this is only used when I don't trust your rolls). Your results and certain stats will be [put in brackets] above any scene. I will be coaching you along the basic rules as we go. The forum rule's section will show you how and what is expected before hand, check that out if need help. If you have questions feel free to ask them to me, preferably by PM.

    4) Here is the basics of how you will play:

The three main rolls of the game- the ability check, the saving throw, and the attack roll- rely on the six ability scores that you see on your sheet. Simply roll a d20 (or use a number generator) and that number will stand for another on a randomized roll chart on my end (your roll could be a 15 or a 14). For those with a Reputation higher than 25 on this Forum I might trust you enough to keep things as is - I hold the right to change things if I feel suspicious. I will factor all your ability modifiers and proficiency bonuses derived from one of your six ability scores on your sheet, and compare the total to a target number. In certain situations you will be asked to roll twice. These are Advantage and Disadvantage Rolls. On my discretion in a certain situation I can ask you to pick between the highest number or lowest number of these two rolls depending on your situation. For example you might be asked to roll with advantage if you are shooting your bow at a paralyzed foe and you might be asked to roll with disadvantage if your character was on a wobbling platform. If you have one advantage and one disadvantage during a turn these will cancel out. Advantage do not typically stack, but neither do disadvantages. Expending any awarded Inspiration can cancel out disadvantage or advantage.

    5) Turns will most likely play out like this.

    .            Posts and Turns:

    A.            Turn: A turn is every GM post (which will be specifically marked.) You are allowed 1 Major Action, Up to 3 (Can be debated depending on circumstance and initiative) Minor Actions, and Unlimited Free Actions per turn (within reason: if you are sipping tea while on fire you will feel the burn).  Each Action is a Post. However be considerate and do not cut anyone out by posting too much, instead responses will be integrated together each turn and then added to a large ream of contiguous story which will be able to read and to which you can refer. Note that combat order will be determined by a D20 die roll plus your dex mod. The highest in order will go first and the lowest will post last. The DM make sure sections of the story will be integrated and flow naturally post by post.

    i.              Major Action: You’re main Goal during the turn, such as Attacking, Defending, Building, Dashing (which will equal double your average speed in movement) Examining objects, Running Away, Spying, Persuasion, Solving a Puzzle, etc.

ii.             Minor Actions/Reactions: These are things you can do in reaction to someone else or Simple things/tasks such as, moving out of somebody's way, shifting uneasily, twiddling thumbs, walking around a room (but not moving to a new room). Once you expend a minor action/ reaction then you cannot use another since the next turn.

iii.            Free Actions: Things you don't need to actually post about, such as breathing, blinking, etc. Also Talking is a free action; just don't make long conversations that cause someone to become left out, integrate and add responses to what people say building off their text.

iv. BONUS ACTIONS Various class features, spells, and other abilities let you take an additional action on your turn called a bonus action. The Cunning Action feature, for example, allows a rogue to take a bonus action. You can take a bonus action only when a special ability, spell, or other feature of the game states that you can do something as a bonus action. Choosing to expend your Bonus action means not you cannot do so again.

    B. If you talk aloud you will be heard. If you talk too much during a dangerous event you can be hurt. When using your actions be aware of your environment, make sure to check your environment from time to time. The GM will inform you accordingly.  Note that any talk between your characters in private, quiet manner can be first be seen in a group PM with the DM involved. You are not immune to rolls revealing these private talks.

    C. If you're surprised, you can't move or loose an action on your first turn of the combat, and you can't take a reaction until that turn ends. A member of a group can be surprised even if the other members aren't. This goes the same way for when your foes are caught of guard.

    6. If you do not own a Players Handbook or Any Material - this is completely fine. I will help anyone set up a character sheet in a PM or Skype chat

    ---

    Races -

Herbivores and Prey animals are preferred, the more predatory your are, the more risk you will clash in alignment with the cast and narrative, and the less tolerated you will be by NPC's. Non-Mobian Humanoids, Mythical Creatures, or Robians are not allowed. Hybridization is rare at this time, please ask me before requesting a mixed race Mobian.

    Classes:

Druids are replaced with Dawnforge Cast's Shaman Homebrew. Wild-shaping Mobians clashes with the lore of EoT.

    Backgrounds/Equipment:

All Backgrounds will be heavily modified from the base game to fit a neolithic context. Anything you choose from the PHB is open to you, however equipment will be tweaked and new features will be added.

    ---

    So far is anyone interested?

Can we do something like this again? @Wulfsbane@Mike Arcade@MoKat@WarTraveller This looks awesome! I'd love play as a Fox. Wonder what there stats would be like.

  7. I just played through the first grand prix on Sonic All Stars Racing: Transformed. It was fun. I like the changes between vehicle types. I like the car to boat parts the most. It's pretty neat weave around in the waves, then jump and drift on all four of your wheels back into a car. Still trying to get a hold of the plane parts, because up is dowards and the down is upwards. Red says that how it is to fly an actual plane. There is a way to fix that, and if you have trouble you can use fly assist.  But that won't help me get better, so I am learning how to do it normally. Really love the music. It's got a good, upbeat synth sound. My favorite character to play is Wreck It Ralph, because he reminds me of myself. I am constantly bumping into things in "my blind side" too. 😝

But, show me a plush based off of Hyper or Dark Super Sonic and that's already more interesting than another batch of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow and Amy.

I think Sega should make official plushies of these, because people will pay for it. There is ones I'd like to see that I have not seen a lot of, like there are no Archie ones sadly, but I have not even seen Sally one ever, and I was around in the 90's to remember when she was popular. They are really missing out. I think fans of the old cartoons would love to have one of Antoine, Sally, Rotor, and Bunnie. And you could even do their different modern costumes with these same molds and bodies. It would be cheap and easy money!

Well. We are growing well lately with a lot more active members. I would like to keep this momentum!

I would like to thank @Senior Bobbert, @KlayaThePitbull , @Sargent Beeler., @Alphamon_Ouryuken, @GBHPrime84, @SGT Rock Vox for contributing to this site. You have wonderful ideas and fun things to say. I respect you all for enjoying your work.

If any of you all have other people that you would like to bring here, I would deeply appreciate it. And if you want to help improve this site to better serve you. Let us know in the brainstorm section. We appreciate your ideas and voices. 🙂

You are very welcome! I am very excited to get into the fandom! I just bought my first Archie Sonic comic book, a whole volume. I am excited to read it. Like @Alphamon_OuryukenI think I will end up liking this comic better than the newer Sonic stuff. I am going to try and read the IDW comic and if I like that one too, but you really can't replace the classic characters. I really like the character Sally Acorn. I'd like them together better than Amy. She's only twelve years old, right? Sounds more like a girly crush.

I had to- you threatened to put me in a nursing home (again).

🤪 Hey! I'm older than you are! They'd have to put me in the home too. That will never happen. XD I guess we'd be stuck reading  comics together. We'd be the "way passed cool" old people.

  11. I like the idea of Paralives. It's something different than the Sims 4. You can make it more your own. Hope it comes out soon, and does well. Maybe it will make EA, make Sims more customized too. Sims 4 is not very broad about its characters anymore. In Sims Three you could all around the world, but in Sims 4 you can't. It's basically stuck to your house again, like Sims One. Big downgrade!

  12. Hello everybody!

I am back! I have not had a computer to get on for a while. I moved close by to @Mike Arcadeand @TheRedStranger. Should be able to post more often. The Sonic movie was good. I hope to talk about it here more. I really love to look at your guys art and talk about it, too. I'd like to do D&D online here with you guys, and work on my writing. It's always great to listen to new Sonic music too. @WulfsbaneI have missed you, buddy. Maybe when you come down again, me you and buy another piece of land. 🤣 Hope to hear from you more here.

  13. If I had a time machine - I'd like to go back to when I was little. I would give myself some good life advice like staying away from sweets and unhealthy food (I am a diabetic). I would do myself some favors. Besides that, I would like back to the fifties when everything was less than a dollar (but then again I'd probably buy a buncha sweets again - wouldn't do me no good bein' like Marty Mcfly - more like Fatty-mcfly). xD
