  1. Should my Character Generators thread be merged into "Cool RPG tools, widgets, and decorum"?
  2. Heh, I don't know where to begin... *thinks* I still have Shining in the Darkness & Gargoyles for the Genisis, so it could be cool to see what they can do with those games. I approve of that
  3. Yup; and Romi Pak pretty much made a career out of it. *gets back on topic* Commercial Collection Vol.1
  4. That depends on how you define "local". The way I see it, the CCP has kept American apps out of China for as long as apps have existed; it's past time we reciprocated. Tik Tok lost a huge market when it was banned in India. I'll see if I can dig up anything that says how many downloads were from the U.S. {Edit: according to this Oberlo article, which was written in July, Tik Tok had been downloaded 165 million times in the U.S. From Statistica (Feb 28, 2020):
  5. I pulled out an old game-book and played through it recently. It's a loose adaptation of the I6 "Ravenloft" module titled "Master of Ravenloft". You play a 15th level Paladin named Jeren Sureblade (lol) who enters the village of Barovia and soon rescues a girl named Irena. She tells you all the dirt she has on Strahd & the rest of the book takes place inside Castle Ravenloft. Three pre-game rolls determine the locations of 3 key things within the castle: the Sunsword, the Holy Medalion of Ravenkind, and Strahd himself. This gives it more re-play value, like the module upon which it is based. There are other things you can find in the castle too, such as healing potions and Holy Water. Unlike the module, your character only has three stats: Fighting, Dexterity, and Wisdom; there are a few occasions in which you'll need to make checks against them, btw. I'd forgotten how much fun this book can be, but there are only three ways it can end: 1) Strahd kicks your butt 2)You kick Strahd's butt, but he'll eventually revive & return 3)You figure out how to destroy Strahd permanetly. *posts scans* Strahd's comment about paladins gave me a chuckle

  7. Not really. It's been too hot to paint & everytime I sit down to sketch, Candy teleports onto my lap ;D ... That reminds me that I need to check the pet thread because I don't think I've posted a photo of her there.
  8. She has something in common with my mother then ;D
  9. I do too ^.^ Sometimes that can be a -good- thing; my experience is that the majority is often wrong about many things Ugh! That was obviously designed by somebody who doesn't handle firearms very often (if at all) >.< FYI, Serious Sam titles like to poke fun at things so the series' name is a bit of a misnomer. That pic you posted is typical of their style of humor. Agreed.
  10. When I saw that Clash of Kings was on the list of Chinese apps that were banned in India, I did a little digging and found this: CLASH OF KINGS Ripoff Reports, Complaints, Reviews, Scams, Lawsuits and Frauds Reported Only 2 reports were filed, but the one filed back in January claimed: Full report can be found here. The 2nd report is short enough to quote entirely:
  11. That's not weird; a terrible character can be greatly (or at least believably) written. I'm not a big fan of the series, but it has its moments.
  12. ^This is no surprise; All movie production took a big hit from the pandemic >.< (yeah, I forgot "C" meant cinematic instead of comic :P)
  13. The X-Men part of the MCU is still weird IMHO with all that Krakoan stuff going on, so I really haven't been buying many X-title lately. Deadpool is currently King of the Monsters, and it's been an interesting ride so far.
  14. This was rather amusing: Sonic Animation - SONIC THE HEDGEHOG SEASON ONE COMPILATION - SFM Animation
  15. I'm open to the idea; I have a little more time on my hands these days It's been a looooong time since I last played tabletop though. The D&D system certainly has changed since my days of running AD&D 1.5 homebrew and 2nd edition sessions. CRPGs kinda filled the void; 2 reasons I loved Neverwinter Nights are Undermountain & the toolkit for making custom modules. Been kinda itching to make a Tabaxi character (maybe a Bard?) after doing some readin on Patherfinder and D&D 5e And your suggestion of Eldritch Knight for Kalindra seemed to be spot on, btw; she'd weapon bond with her Greatmace. *gets back on topic* I was looking for something and stumbled across some songs by a group I'd never heard of before; I was impressed enough to share: Aviators - Requiem for the King (Dark Souls II Song | Dark Acoustic) Aviators - When Our Bodies Wash Ashore (Bloodborne Song | Dark Alternative) Aviators - Traveler's Song (Fantasy Rock)
  16. I stumbled across this & I think she's pretty good: Maw of the King- An Original Dungeons and Dragons Inspired Song I'm checking out her other stuff, but she also did a cover for something JoCat did: Races- A Crap Cover About DnD And I've been following Puffin's Curse of Strahd Replay: *drops a link to episode 1*
  17. Sketch & a painting I'm working on. I'm thinking about filling them in with black to make them look like silhouettes. Maybe add eyes & noses in a metallic color; not sure at this point.
