  1. I am working on a 36x36 painting for Summer School of The Judgement Hall scene in Undertale, in a mix of styles of Edvard Munch and Jaque Louis David. Have tons of art stuff to show you guys soon.

  2. That oddly resembles me.... https://i.imgur.com/xnBQd3u.gifv I would prefer Japan be conquered by the Canine Master Race though to serve their whims rather than make anime.
  3. Honestly, it all depends on when in the story it was done. If done at the earliest, it would very well effect the ending of the game. I could see them being used to take advantage mostly after the game, going after Sonic when he and Station Square would be their weakest. Beyond this its hard to tell, because the E-series was not really portrayed with narrative wherewithal. All but the dumbest of their number, float at the edge of the narrative with little actual interaction with the rest of the plot. They are a stove-piped phenomena in their own universe, intriguing obstacles for Gamma to shoot and very little more beyond the narrow confines of his line of gameplay.
  4. The vocals need more effort. But it’s great to see synth and sax back together, truly the 80’s Star couple.
  5. Honestly, mine would probably be a heavily story driven RPG with platforming elements. It’s the best way to really capitalize on the broad range of characters, locations, and potential intersecting of stories both series can provide.
  6. I personally would like to see someone get a hold of Sonic Chronicles and hack into it to make other and more complete Sonic RPG’s. Has there really been any noble attempts at that?
  7. Sounds like Disney is trying to cull the herd back they beat away and insulted. From Boyega’s “We don’t care” comment, Ryan Johnson’s insulting fans, and all the identity-politicization of Star Wars by Kathleen Kennedy, I doubt they can really dig out of the hole they made. Afterall, we know this series just ends in a dejected son of Anakin, idealistic hero somehow turned attempted teen murder, milking manatees on a backwater while his angsty, Vader fan-boy, grandson magically undos all the development of Clone Wars and Original series lore in a thinly-veiled, Chinese-knock off Quality reboot. None of it matters anymore because where it’s all going does not matter anymore.
  8. Happy Independence Day! God Bless America and God bless you Freedom Fighters!

We’ll get you over someday soon. ;)

  9. Interesting. Wonder who Rudd would play. Too bad Paramount doesn’t still own Kings Island, then we could totally have a Sonic themed roller coaster. Really hope something good comes from this. Be great to see this film do well.
  10. Taking Summer classes right now. Looks like I am heading for an A in printmaking. I know how silk-screen now, drypoint, and do traditional wood and linocuts. Also did some digital work. Teacher is letting me double up for one semester so I can get a minor in it as well as a certificate in drawing/draftsmanship.

  11. I am not sure if question one is exclusively relevant to Satam, it leans also towards (maybe even more so) to the Archie canon. I would recommend adding this to the WWYDD thread there in order to get more Archie specific answers. But, to translate this to specifically Satam, I would say there has to be more groups out there fighting Robotnik. He even specifically mentions an attempt to quell an insurgent group in one episode in season one. Also, even in Time Line A of Satam (before Blast to the Past), Rosie helped raise the kids before tragically being napped during a Swatbot patrol’s incursion into the forest. In B, she is still with the FF to this day. Perhaps Satam time line A is more bleak, Robotnik is more level and uninterrupted in his primary conquest. Time line B has more distractions and disruptions for the Coupe, during Blast to The Past, and thus probably lead to the survival of more potential resistance. Robotnik seems to be less level headed after Sonic went back in time as well. The reality of Sonic being able to time-travel would eventually set in and eat at Julian psychologically the same way it would for Sarah Conner after Terminator One. Any day, an assassin or upsurper can appear in your timeline at one of your most vulnerable moments. To Robotnik that day is one of great uncertainty, to Sonic it’s as well mapped as yesterday’s front page news. I would think this would all change his approach at war to be more attritional and conservative in his tactics against others, while really splurging resources and focus to take down Sonic when the moment rises. No matter what, there is an opportunity to answer this question in two totally different ways depending on which timeline we are referring too.
  12. One takes place before it called Truce of Bakkurha. But you can go straight into the Thrawn trilogy because it has little connection. It’s vastly superior to the SJW-shill that is Disney Star Snores.
  13. Here in the States it was heavily advertised. So far it’s lost Disney 50$ million and then there is the stock market. People are pulling out big time.
  14. Nope. And it’s already had around a 65% drop off rate in sales in its following weeks.
  15. I am deeply sorry, friend. I do not intended to upset, but make a point with impactful rhetoric. I fear you have lost my words in translation. That was comical hyperbole, laughable metaphor to express my extreme disgust for such artists. It’s American humor. It is funny the same way imaging a janitor, a professional who cleans, slinging mud around would be: it’s both an extreme and an obvious untrue opposite, a reversal of expectations. I obviously would never sacrifice anyone to Chuthulu. But I sure would love to see real musicianship once again, rather than predatory puppet-artists bandied about by corporate shills, capitalizing on adolescent youth with blatant over-sexuality. It also sets up an expectation that women are objects of sexuality an over exaggerates pleasure one can gain through excess and promiscuity. As for the actual literal and actual subtextual content such “musicians” push, I cannot ethically abide in them. They promote the dissolution of both aural aesthetic, musician ship (too much auto-tune and overproduction), and are absent of any substantial moralizing content. The dollar sign in “Ke$ha’s” name says it all: shallow materialism. And I know a lot of people who followed the pop-philosophy of “Die Young.” Went to see one of their graves today actually for Memorial Day. A love one that partied herself into her grave... The world needs less of this. Note these are my opinions alone, I demand no one to take them as their own. I believe I can back them up well however and have viable motivation to believe as I do. I won’t say music like that causes one to be become a fiend, but certainly it is a form of artistic junk-food and can be correlated with some societal dissolution. I would not want my kids listening to it, if I had them, especially a little girl. Your opinions are your own. And you have the right to enjoy what you wish. As for me I will stick with music that takes actual skill and has a edifying message. For example your own Martin Luther’s gorgeous hymn: This is music truly worth listening too.
  16. Well, schools “over” for the year, going to Summer school anyways. Got Straight A’s once a again! Going to take Printmaking and Painting Two this summer. Hopefully, I will graduate by this Fall semester.

Cool! Those sound like fun classes; will you do silk-screening in the printmaking class?

Yes! It’s the third assignment. I will also be doing digital transfers and 3D prints.

  17. A good Parody must be loving, a form of catharsis to help address the problems within a cultural artifact like Thundercats in a positive way for its memetic development. Humor is the magical social mechanism we humans use to find pleasure in the mending of broken cultural bones so to speak. We might lampshade some of the cheese of our beloved childhood cartoons, but parody peels away the curtains and reveals the flaws for potential reconstruction in an enjoyable way. It’s the anatesia for a social surgery, both a vitamin and opioid for artistic growth and growing pains. This show however, has already revealed itself to be a negative deconstruction, a clumsy butchering. In just the goofish depiction of Lions, one can see the brewing of a passive-aggressive satire and postmodern subversion, cynical yet sugar-coated, and all together insubstantial. The show takes instead what was good in Thundercats and twists it to be mindless. Much like the new “Soylo” film by Disney, it acts as a postmodern mouthpiece. The once beautiful and competent Cheetara looks like a boy cosplaying as a stereotypical androgynous lesbian rather a strong person who happens to be also proudly female. Liono looks and acts like a stupid incompetent man-child, castrated of any masculine character and competence, much unlike the original male role model. I personally believe cultural appropriation is not a thing. People should not be told what to do with a cultural artifact, as it violates the first amendment, a fundamental human right. If you want to wear an “offensive” Pow-wow costume for Halloween go ahead. You want to make a atheistic satire of my religion, go ahead. I believe even this should have the right to exist. However, when you tell a person that this is what Thundercats is now because some greasy androgynous man-bun millennial scribbles it to be so with WB’s consent, and would demonetize, perhaps even DMCA, any other culturally contiguous recreation of Thundercats made by fans of the original show, then you are engaging in a form of cultural abortion, a censorship of what can be for the good general society down to “minorities” such as subcultures like hardcore original Thundecats fans. I would have no problems with this talentless, garish crap stinking up some channel I never watch anymore if it were but one of a several species of story that developed from the original source. Yet, seeing as this is now THE “Thundercats,” and WB would gleefully hamstring anyone else’s attempt to create something in contrast, then I must excercise my consumer sovereignty over WB and CN by not watching it, and enjoy other works that I find edifying. Ultimately and ideally, there should be freedom for those who already hate this show to continue what they love on their own and not have it butchered before inception like many fan-works as this “official” material is allowed to pollute the memetic ecosystem that is our culture. Sadly, copyright law as it is gives huge companies the power to malform culture without consent of those persons who strongly indentify with that culture. People might use strong terms like “rape my childhood” and they might be very off-color, however, there is truth to that term: we did not ask for this, we want what want for shows like Thundercats instead as consumers, and they a forced upon on us with intent to control subcultures without consent of their fans. Copyright when combined with agenda-driven postmodern cuckery, is not cultural apporiation, it’s the opposite and an actual reality, cultural monopolization, cultural dictation.
  18. Physical Solution: Fabre Castell Brush Pen and Soft-Brush pen. You can get a pack of their ink pens 40% off with Hobby Lobby or Micheal’s with their respective 40% on Anything Off Daily Digital Coupon’s. https://www.hobbylobby.com/ Digital: Try out Painting Tool SAI - it has a brilliantly intuitive fine-detail linework tool. If you work your way up to it, then I really recommend Adobe Illustrator. But that is a professional tool and to get it legally and most update does cost a monthly fee, which is not bad given something like a student discount.
  19. Like I said in the above post - you have come a long way linework-wise. She looks perfect for the RP. But feel free to design a new character as well. I usually do all the grunt work to translate it into a character sheet and teach the rules as we play. She looks like she would be an “Eldricht Knight” class. As for the art work - give that gal some claws on her fingers and toes. She looks like the type to flaunt them rather than retract them. Note that RPs that stall here can be overridden and taken up by a new DM. Admins will continue games that stall for example that are in high demand to continue. Only one campaign here has ever stalled. We do a lot of them via PM and Skype then dump them into the RP section in a novel format. So it’s ends up making something that can be read like novel usually. They act like group literature projects by the end of play. We just edit them up and make sure they flow - and bingo. Only one RP so far here as stalled and that’s as because a now suspended member maliciously deleted content. It maybe restored but @WarTraveller idea for a traditional D&D game sounds real interesting so we will probably do that instead.
  20. Excellent work! Your sense of composition is improving. This is more a constructive graphics-design tip than general art tip: notice how the tail at the bottom is cropped by the screen. You can make the curvilleanear motion of the fish ”flow@” across the composition better by zomming the subject (the cat and fish in a little bit more toward the center) and finishing the line work for the tail if you wish to use this as a later date. Your line work is also getting cleaner and more defined. Some tapering and thick’s and thins would make it even better.
  21. The hidden gems of the Classic Era, there are more Game Gear Sonic games during the Classic era than even on the Genesis! Here is the thread to discuss the early years of Sonic taken abroad on the full color and cutting edge portable of the early nineties, the glorious Game Gear. What do you think of the games? Love them? Hate them? Interested in overthinking their lore, analyzing their mechanics, and discussions the business and design history? Here is the place!
