    Welp, it's finally happened, Sora from Kingdom Hearts is the Final DLC Character. I gotta say, the trailer had me going for a second. Could of sworn it would be a Dark Souls character. XD I can’t be mad either, he's a great capstone to the biggest crossover game of all time. Kinda feels like it could open the floodgates for future characters in a possible next entry to the series. I'm not even mad that Doom Slayer got a Mii costume, overall it's been a great ride to watch these trailers and see what famous characters could get in. What were your favorite DLC Characters that got revealed in Smash Ultimate? Mine were Hero, Banjo & Kazooie, Terry Bogard, Steve, Sephiroth, and Kazuya Mishima. It's been great, and I hope to get Smash Ultimate sometime soon.

    So, sold separately on Steam from the NGPC Selection is the under rated, but excellent portable fighter SNK vs. Capcom! Emulated it years ago, and despite the 8-bit Chibi style, it's a great game with a surprising amount of content with over 20 Characters. A bit small compared to other CVS or SVC games, but the fact that it was done for a Handheld is nothing short of incredible. If you want to see this series, think about picking it up. It's pretty cheap all things considered. I could always do a small review later.

    I'm all for a different version of a film I've seen, heck Sylvester Stallone is doing that with Rocky IV and I'm all for watching what that entails. It's like one of the best movies ever. Godfather Part III had one come out, but I heard it's not great. The only fan edit I've seen is of someone turning Breaking Bad (The Whole Show) into a 2 Hour Movie. Can't remember much of it though. I know James Wolfe did one for a college assignment years ago, and while he talked about it I can’t remember what it was. Maybe someone should do a re-edit of Sonic X like an Anime Compilation film. XP Which you could say are Offical Re-Edits with either new scenes or completely reanimated. I'm sure @Sorzo could tell you about those.

    So, has anyone here been watching the most recent Disney+ MCU shows? If so, what have you thought of them? My experience with them has been lukewarm to dull. Wanda Vision's ending ticked me off, while Loki was a slog. Falcon and Winter Soldier is overall the better show, until you really think about it overall in terms of plot and it’s message. It rings really hallow to me, "You've got to do better." Except that we're given no solution on what better is. What If has just been a comedy, when it really should have been Marvel's Twilight Zone. Honestly, I don't see the MCU ever recovering from what the overall series tone is now, and I dread to see what they do to characters like She-Hulk.

    Neo Geo Pocket Color Selection Vol. 1 got released on Steam recently! It's a bit different from the Switch version as it has one game in that wasn't in the Switch, but otherwise it's the same collection with a bunch of different games. Granted, half of the games are Fighters, but I'm not posting it on the Fighting game Topic because of the different games. Either way, I've played these games before, but if you want to officially own them and are fans of SNK Fighters and Metal Slug I'd highly recommend it. I must point out though that on Steam, the NGPC SNK vs. Capcom game is sold separately...for some reason. It could be because of Capcom's license even though it's in the Switch version of the Collection, but still. I'll talk about that in the Fighters Topic.

    Reminds me of the show Angry Beavers with the first Muscular Beaver episode, where the title hero in the comic said that his identity is so secret, even HE doesn't know who he is! I need to look over these comics and find the one where Nicky's Dad tells him how Sonic saved him years ago, and when he woke up ended up meeting his Future Wife. I mean Sonic as a Series isn't new to Time Travel (unless that was the first case of it happening), but if Time Travel is not involved...how the heck is that even possible!? In fact, the story of Sonic saving someone from a Plane Crash is the end point of that obscure Mary Garnet Sonic Story, which makes me think if there's some sort of tie to that story.

    @NagolThank you for sharing this video, ever since the show ended it seems as if Sonic Boom has fallen off the radar for a lot of fans. I do remember seeing a majority of that concept art before such as the Young Eggman and such. There was also some of a completely different Sonic design to look a bit more like a legit Hedgehog, and while I do like the more US looking Boom Sonic, it's hard to get Sega to agree to anything too unique or different for Sonic. Any other series is fine, but not Sonic.

    Goodness MoKat, upon looking at all of your artwork, it's truly inspiring to me. I really gotta get my head out of the ground and work on drawing and art as a skill.

    Okay @TheRedStranger. I'll bite the bullet here. I should start off with RE Zero right? Can't exactly play the RE2 Remake yet, but still. I do respect this series, and want to get into it.

    The Asylum was pretty easy, even if the Giant Demon was intimidating, but I've faced off against huge bosses before. XP What Class would you recommend for a 1st Playthrough? As sadistic I am, I always chose the Undead with No Clothes. XD Not sure if my Laptop could play the Remastered version, but I'll see.

    I've played quite a bit of Outrun back in the day, and while I have yet to obtain a Switch regarding it's port on there (does it have a port on the Switch?), I do have the 3DS port. Considering I'm a big fan of SEGA, of course I had to check out the series. It's a fun Driving game, and I say that specifically as while it is a Racing game by genre, that's only in name only. If you never played an Outrun game, you don't necessarily race anyone, rather you are driving cross country (or around the world, depending on the game) to make it to a destination. Outrun has an excellent soundtrack, much like Hang-On, and of course just like that game my personal favorite to pick before a playthrough is of course Splash Wave. Thanks for the article MoKat, real fun game.

    Considering Melty Blood Type Lumina is coming out, thought it'd be nice to post how such an obscure fighter got popular enough to get a new game in the Series. Any of you gonna check this series out? Let me know. Also, the Final Fighter in the Default Roster got announced at the last minute, @Nagol you might want to see this. lol

    Indeed, but considering the obscurity of the series as well as the language barrier, I have not seen any sort of fan continuation of this series. If there is, I'd assume that it would be only from Japanese fans. Even then, I sincerely doubt it. I'd be interested to see how it would be explained as to why Nicky turns into Sonic, and why Nicky never remembers the times he was Sonic. That's kind of a HUGE mystery to me and why that was done.

    I don't know how to explain my dream that month, somehow that's just what it cooked up. Maybe it was a lot better than what I remembered and I missed out on a lot of details, OR I just explained it horribly. It seemed like a follow up would have been far more interesting if it took a far more Sci-Fi or Fantasy Twist to it. XP

    I'm quite concerned regarding Super Hero films. while this has gradually been happening for years, it's becoming much more about politics and quotas than telling good stories. It's gonna lead them nowhere but mediocrity, and I'll be honest, I'm not exactly looking forward what Marvel has planned (Secret Wars). Another problem is that regarding the MCU is it's over abundance on using the Multiverse concept. While it's a trite trope used by Comics for years, this is just gonna confuse the general audience. It's very cheap, and so far it's use in the MCU has been very dull. Funny enough, kinda makes it a lot like actual comics that over rely on the concept. XP DC barely even has a Movie Universe, so no bother to comment on it. XD Unless we count the DC Animated Films anyway.

    Everyone, I've got some big news! Thanks to Sonic Lore Database over on Discord, I've obtained what appears to be the Complete Collection of the Sonic Manga, published by Shogakukan. That's right, all the Japanese Originals are now available to you or anyone that's curious on what it holds. This is the same series that Amy and Charmy originally came from. Along with other characters that were designed with the assistance of Sega of Japan themselves!     Colors Ultimate is out now, though I have heard it's a bit rough so far compared to the original. @TheRedStranger Should I make a topic for Colors here on Post-Modern or Modern? XP

    Haven't seen anything regarding a fan continuation as of late. At least not yet. Kinda hard to do so regarding this series as it was very episodic. Yet I am curious to see what some fan out there might make. https://sonic.sega.jp/SonicChannel/character/sticks.html This however is the series' legacy and provided the biggest impact of Sonic. Sticks actually has a profile on Sega of Japan's Official Website! While she's only appeared in outside of the Boom Series in a Mario & Sonic Olympics crossover and an anniversary comic on this website, it remains to be seen if or when Sticks will appear again. Still, that's one heck of an honor, even older characters from other Sonic cartoons and comics have yet to make an appearance on there.

    Okay, so now that the comic has been going on for quite a while now, how about we ask the major question we've all been asking ourselves. How would you adapt in the Knothole Freedom Fighters into IDW Sonic? I find this to be a very interesting question, as the context of the world in This Comic is that it follows the "Two Worlds" Concept Sega has followed with the Games since Colors. Not to mention that every event from the mainline games, including Forces (which is VERY OBVIOUS considering how the first issue started). Hence this question.
