  1. Azreal sauntered over to the man's "wives." Both glanced worryingly at each other through their veils as the paladin approached them. He read their telling eyes with suspicion. If his aspersions were correct, he could catch these thieves with not only their guard down but have them quickly arrested with witnesses and authorities in tow. He calmly paced around, probing their nerve with predatory keenness. Swiftly the paladin sniffed out the more nervous of the two and pressed with a question: "Miss are you aware of an assassination attempt and thievery last night? Have you happened to seen anything else suspicious around lately?" He stops his pace and stared at this wife straight in her eyes, observing their shape and expression . "A few thieves have stolen at a monastery of all places, to many a rather holy place for those who believe. Not only this, but one of thieves made a considerable effort on a presbyter's life. One that was surely enacted with malice of forethought. Such an act is, by the law of this land and words of its faith, punishable not only in this city, but far, far after death as well..." Azrael's tone twisted into a strange growl "Any of what I've told you sound familiar?"
  2. Yeah I saw that reaction, didn't have much to do with the game itself rather then it being a complaint about it being the sole game released for the 25th this year. I mean I can understand that sort of reaction but that's rather a moot point as I'd rather have a spin off and a late celebration next year with two new games that appear to be a high quality and well made rather then what happened 10 years ago on Sonic's 15th Anniversary, or may I once more remind you of what happened in Soleanna, which by the way that game was my Birthday Present for that year back in 2006...yeah. Other then that, from looking at the game any constructive thoughts on it?
  3. Welp I'm back again on my one man topic of SHMUP Theories, I will say this though before I get started I am going to make a Shoot Em Up Topic on the Video Game Section here and that'll not only cover traditional Shmups but Run n' Guns like Contra and Metal Slug, On Rail Shooters like Space Harrier, and Light Gun games like Virtua Cop and Time Crisis...maybe even FPS Games too while I'm at it. XP So this next theory is and isn't a theory in a way as this developer has mentioned this strange force that is behind the scenes on many of their games, just what is this force and what are their goals? Well we're going to find out just what they could be planning... MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD Developer Treasure: The Mystery of Outside Space, Our True Antagonists? Treasure was formed in the early 1990s, all of their devs being from Konami originally. The best way to describe them would be to say they are the Platinum Games of the 90's and early 2000s, sadly they've apparently stopped making games which is quite disappointing, especially considering how they've been hinting at a major threat behind most of their Original IPs. In the game Sin and Punishment for Nintendo 64, you play as a group of Teenagers protecting this weird green haired girl named Achi fighting both mutants that were suppose to be humanity's new food source gone horribly wrong and the corrupt hunters that fight them. Trippy story, point is one of the teenagers becomes this mutant super warrior, which turns out that was part of Achi's master plan as she wanted an Ultimate Warrior to help her rule a New Earth of her making, basically hitting the reset button. They defeat her and destroy her Earth Mimic Planet quite literally and live apparently happy ever after more or less, after the credits it's revealed that she's not quite dead and her true intentions, to use the main character Saki to take on "God" ...yes you read that right, though in this term "God" isn't the same kind of God we know of and are thinking, not by a long shot. On that matter in Guardian Heroes the apparent "Creator" of the universe planned all the events of the game for the sole purpose to create Ultimate Warriors, using the Undead Hero whose been your ally the entire time as a messenger of sorts, while that game came out a few years before Sin and Punishment it sounds VERY similar to Achi's Intentions from Sin and Punishment...but why create Ultimate Warriors? That can't be a coincidence, and it might just not be one either as we go to the sequel of Guardian Heroes for answers. http://www.vgmuseum.com/end/gba/e/agh.htm We are given the first ever mention of "The Outer World", as the Undead Hero is said to have been from Another World, essentially it's suppose to mean us as the player coming from another world but the phrase itself will soon have another meaning in the next GBA Treasure Sequel Gunstar Super Heroes. In Gunstar Super Heroes the harder the difficulty of the game you choose the more story you get, in Hard Mode you get some very interesting tidbits and information. The 4 Treasure Gems of Gunstar Heroes which seem like an elemental expy of Chaos Emeralds turn out to actually be sentient in Gunstar Super Heroes and tell you tales of each Gem who watched over a different Earth, specifically one from Radiant Silvergun, Silhouette Mirage, Guardian Heroes, and Advance Guardian Heroes. Meaning ALL of these worlds are somehow connected together, possible alongside other Treasure games like Alien Solider and others that aren't from other licenses they didn't make. In fact one character from Mischief Makers states they come from Another World near the end of that game. So in Super Heroes there ends up being a 5th Gem known as the Megalith, which is unlike the other 4 Gems as it not only is trying to repeat the events of Gunstar Heroes but it also said to represent an entity known as Outside Space which the 4 Gems are trying to warn the Heroes of it's threat. Once more we are told of Another World, this time known as the Outside Space.. However connections to other Treasure Original Games aside it finally comes all ahead in Sin and Punishment: Star Successor where it's manual reveals all of it's backstory and may hold the key to what this Outside Space enemy is. "Star Successor reveals that there are two dimensions present within the universe: Inner Space and Outer Space. In Inner Space, there are multiple Earths, watched over by beings known as "The Creators" (literally referred to as "God" in the Japanese version). The creators have guided mankind to defend these planets and fight, destroying mankind whenever it strays from its destined path by attempting to bring peace. " (Wikipedia Article of Sin and Punishment: Star Successor) This brings things to a more horrifying light, as it turns out all these fights from Treasure's Original IPs may in fact be tests from these so-called "Creators" in order to make Ultimate Warriors to fight off those from "Outer Space" and protect their "Inner Space". As silly as all these terms are it's still rather disturbing, yet it also kinda fits and somewhat contradicts the plot and ending of Radiant Silvergun...or paints it in a whole new light, all of their games really when you think about it! So those from...I'm just gonna call them Outside Space send out agents to fight the creators of Inner Space or create Ultimate Warriors of their own form the inside to counteract against them. Achi as it turns out is one of these agents. But why do all of this, any of this for that matter? As it turns out there is a good reason for all of this. "It gets even closer to Gray and Gray Morality with the information on the European Website. According to it, the expansion of the universe is causing Inner Space to apply more pressure on Outer Space as it grows larger. If it's not stopped then Outer Space will be in serious trouble." They are LITERALLY fighting for their own survival! Granted the means that they carry this out make them just as bad as those they fight but still, these Elderich like beings are fighting just to survive...actually from what Star Sucessor tells of them they sound quite familar to the aliens from Alien Soldier. O_o So, does this make them our True Enemies of Treasure's games? Well, yes and no, as we either at times fight against them or for them, knowingly or unknowingly. It depends on the game really I mean in Radiant Silvergun you're basically a sucker to whatever plan is set in motion for that Earth, while in Ikaruga you defy the same or similar Stone-Like and destroy it, arguably giving those of Outside Space a victory. Guardian Heroes can go either way while Advance Guardian Heroes literally calls you a Hero from The Outer World! Can Humanity find true salvation within Treasure's Original IPs and possibly fight both these forces off? Well since they don't make games anymore apparently we may never know, but despite all that tragedy and manipulation it makes for some of the best video games ever made. That and it's just a theory that they are all connected so don't take my word for it, even though it makes a lot of sense. I hope I gave you guys more intensive to play their games, granted I just painted a rather bleak picture but not all the games are connected as such so there you go. XP
  4. It's about time this game got a topic, so thanks to the makers of our favorite Android and iOS ports of Sonic 1, 2, and CD we're getting a new Classic Sonic game! All we know of it so far is Sonic's Drop Dash, Green Hill Zone once again making a return, the new Studiopolis Zone, and how this game will have more Classic Levels then New Ones. How will that work, will the game have a plot? Well I hope so, discuses and talk about this new entry in the Classic Era.
  5. Well it's finally here, the 2nd 3DS Sonic Boom game from Sanzaru Games is out now and despite some worries and them not working on it for months on end it looks like it turned out quite well, getting multiple decent to good reviews! So with that said, have any of you gotten to play the game? If so or not, either way what are your thoughts on mixing Fire and Ice? The answer to mixing them is Water BTW. XP
  6. No that's a good thing more or less! I mean the games finally get some re-releases that this series sorely needed (unlike the Genesis version of Virtua Fighter 2) and while unlikely will hopefully lead to a port of Sega's Thunder Force VI or better yet a new game in the series. Thunder Force III is a great game but I'd be looking more forward to a re-release of Thunder Force IV and/or V, either way all the games in the series are great...well except the very first one. XP
  7. Well it looks like over a month since a game review around here, it's long over due that I review a game here, so what better way but to start off with a recent game I finally got a chance to play, a legendary game from those crazy devs at Treasure of Gunstar Heroes, Radiant Silvergun, and Ikaruga fame, a game where I play as a different set of Heroes... Mike Arcade's Guardian Heroes for Xbox 360 Review Synopsis: We find Four Warriors, Samuel Han (Our Warrior/Barbarian), Randy M. Green (Our 1st Mage), Ginjirou Ibushi (Our Ninja), and Nicole Neil (Our 2nd Mage and Healer), after a quest of sorts (kinda like a D&D game XD) where they ended up obtaining The Sword of Legend, they get an uninvited guest who busts through the door. A Red Armored Woman named Serena Corsair who tells them that royal knights are coming to steal the sword. As you leave the village towards the graveyard with Serena or as Serena, you end up fighting a Royal Mech (Yes they have robots in this Medieval fantasy era) and barely hold your own, Han holds up the Sword of Legend which floats to a shallow grave and brings back a Golden Armored Warrior from the dead which wrecks the Mech easily. This Skeleton known as the Undead Warrior tries to attack this band of Warriors however find out they can now CONTROL this Undead Warrior, after a fight with the prince Velgar and his assortment of knights, creatures, and mages you are now offically enemies of the kingdom and with Serena and your crew have to make choices on where your journey will take you and where it will end. Can you defeat this corrupt Kingdom? What secrets does Serena know? What is the royal adviser Kanon the Grey hiding, and who are these mysterious Skyborn and Earthblood? The choice is yours in this multi path taking Beat Em Up/RPG/Fighting Game Hybrid! Like: Where do I even begin? For one I'm reviewing the Xbox 360 Re-release which add in a whole lot more content to the game such as touched up graphics and Remixed gameplay similar to that of their fighting game Bleach: The Blade of Fate for Nintendo DS. You can however always switch back to the original graphics and Classic gameplay from the Saturn original, which that plays similar to Treasure's Yuyu Hakusho fighting game for the Sega Mega Drive. Talk about gameplay progression, either way you play it however you're going to have a great time, the best way to describe it is like playing a game of Fatal Fury with it's plain switching and having gameplay similar to that of Guilty Gear before Guility Gear was a thing. You can juggle your enemies and even perform special moves, the way they are mapped prevents any sort of control issues and no need for a turn around button like Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero or Guilty Gear Izuka. You're given a 3-plain field and able to switch on the ground anytime you want, so can your enemies and bosses, and of course your Undead Hero you can control. Once you get the Undead Hero in story mode you can give him a few commands similar to that of a simplified RTS game by having him attack ahead or behind you, not at all, or even go nuts with special moves and a screen covering nuke for all your enemies to enjoy. You also have Magic and an MP meter where you can select your spell under a button (Default Classic Controls) or the Right Analog Stick Button (Default Remix Controls), however you can also perform your magic spells on the fly just like your special moves, and no the special moves don't take any MP away from you. This already makes it vastly different they any other beat em up out there, not only that but it's Story Mode contains Multiple Paths which can give you a number of different ways your story will go and who you end up facing off at the end, you may take on the strange clown Zur, a White Knight, the Earthbloods or Skyborns, even a certain final boss from Gunstar Heroes. How you go and carry yourself will lead you to 5 different endings, 2 with 2 variants leading to 7 endings total. The fun doesn't end there, not by a long shot. Once you beat Story Mode once you unlock Serena, if you go to Arcade Mode (which is more accurately a survival mode) and Versus Mode you'll notice something no Beat Em Up has ever done before. You can play as EVERYBODY in the game in these modes, not just the main characters but literally every enemy and boss in the game, you can even play as the villagers you may pass by under a few paths if you want to! Giving you 45 Characters Total to play as, each with their own movelists and playstyles that you can unlock by facing them off in Story Mode or under certain conditions. I have never seen anyone do this before or sense and my gosh is it glorious, not only that but the Arcade and Versus Mode allows you to play up to 6 (Saturn Version Only)/12 (Xbox 360 Version Only) Players to duke it out! Which is just staggering and gives the game an almost endless amount of replay value, did I mention that all these modes can be played online on the 360? Because you can do that, even now this is unbelievable to me. Dislike: The rather useless and pointless Karma system, which can change up some dialogue near the end of the game and the dialogue in 2 of the Ending Screens, you do that by having Negative Amount of Karma which you can gain by attacking villagers, retreating enemies, some pots of plants, and juggling dead enemies after you beat them. But you REALLY have to go our of your way to do that and it doesn't add much to the game other then those varients, not really worth it but it adds an achievement to get on the 360 regarding collecting the endings. Your characters can level up to the max level of 200, which is insane as under a normal playthrough the highest you'll get is around Level 30 or so, granted there are hidden arenas like in Arcade Mode where you can face wave after wave of enemies if you want to grind but that's up to you, though these Arenas are few and far between the paths. That and Undead Hero can cover for anything you lack if you so choose to, though without him the game would be MASSIVELY more difficult I'd imagine but with him or a buddy...or a few you can go through the game with a few stumbles along the way. You're given 10 Credits to beat the game but with each player who jumps in on the fly you not only share those credits but also have to restart the level you're on over again, I'd say don't have allow drop ins online or locally as that can be a hassle, it's best to start a new game with buddies at the beginning (360 Version Only). Lastly, Arcade mode being just a Survival Mode was rather disappointing to me as I thought it was going to be a no dialogue Story Mode playable with everyone, which would have been amazing but the game does so much right as it is I can forgive this flaw. Also if you exit out of story mode you can continue where you left off at the beginning of the last stage you were on, that's not a flaw I was just pointing out the good game design though I don't know if that's only on the 360. Though that doesn't really matter as an average game can last around 30 minutes to an hour at most depending if you want to skip story dialogue or not, though again the multiple paths add in a bunch of ways to play the game anyway so that fixes the length problem...man this is such a good game! Would I Recommend?: OH YES I MOST CERTAINLY DO, GET THIS GAME!!! I don't say this lightly but this is one of the BEST Beat Em Ups I've ever played in my life, it's right up there with the Streets of Rage Games and Remake, River City Ransom, Final Fight, Golden Axe, ALL OF THEM. Best of all it is literally $4.99, that's right THIS GAME IS 5 DOLLARS, I am not even kidding if you have an Xbox 360 you NEED to get this game, I don't know if it'll end up comparable with Xbox One but I wouldn't be surprised, I hope so. Also I REALLY hope this comes out on Steam one day, it NEEDS to and the fact it isn't on there is just insane to me. With that said if you have a 360 and 5 dollars (circa US Currency) to spare get it right now, you will not regret it. To end this I'd say check out Treasure's other awesome games they've made throughout the years, there's even a sequel to Guardian Heroes on the Game Boy Advance called Advanced Guardian Heroes, though that game is very complicated to talk about, but that's a story for another time. Pointers: Wouldn't be me if I didn't have anything else to say, so I'd recommend you guys first start off as Han and go from there, get used to how things work and have fun. Also if you choose to go to the forest and on the next stage choose to go to the castle, you'll end up on Stage 8 where afterwards as Han you can get a stat boost exclusively for him. However don't ignore everyone else, they all have a bunch of spells unlike Han who has only a fireball spell, Nicole seems to be the weakest character at first glance but has been said to be the most broken character in the game from what I've heard so take that how you will, she's surprisingly good though and is the only character who can heal themselves and other players. Randy I kept my distance and things worked out well, physically he's slightly stronger then Nicole but both hit fast which does help and can be surprisingly effective. Ginjirou and Serena I had the toughest time with oddly enough, Ginjirou has the 2nd or 3rd lowest starting health but is the fastest by default, his magic and can be very effective and borderline broken with his Thunder Fist Spell. Serena has balanced stats and can be played however you want, she has a bunch of Special Moves and Spells, though since she originally helps you in a few parts of the game when you play, playing as her means during those parts you're own your own which can make things a bit tougher. You can't go wrong with anyone, see how each character and how they play work out for you, also playing as the villagers are hilarious. So yeah check it out, also this was basically spoiler free so yay for me! Let me know what you guys think and if I should do other reviews, till then.
  8. http://segabits.com/blog/2016/09/17/sega-announces-acquisition-of-technosofts-ips/ I believe I posted this before, and might do so again, but still this is very note worthy and odd to me. I say odd as they produced Thunder Force VI back in 2006 or so, I assumed that they've owned the rights to Tecnosoft's games ever since then but turns out that wasn't the case until now.
  9. [Perception 16 +1] Azrael ignores the reactions of this man's Polygamous beliefs, as wrong as they are to him, and rather turns a look to his wives, and not for any form of admiration . He noticed how one of these wives have rather...saggy breasts would be the only way to describe them, they don't seem to have any recognizable feminine form at all. Something was very odd about them... He walks over to the Dragonborn nearby and whispers "I don't think these are his wives, or women for that matter, I need you to follow my lead, can you do that?"
  10. Interesting, glad to see a story not involving them all getting wiped out...granted one of them does here but baby steps. XP All joking aside it's nice to see how these two have some common ground, and yeah her going to Eggman without any apparent options is rather strange I can agree with you on that. I gotta say I've been looking around on you're Travellerverse (112233C) and I gotta say while there are some bios thankfully I can't find many stories taking place on it or around it nor can I find them in chronological order, are they all posted so far? I was just wondering myself.
  11. Off for the next few days! :)

  12. So I had a weird dream last night, I dreamt that a group of teenagers or college age people were retro gamers who took a fancy to Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 64, we hear that one of these friends die so to honor this friend's memory they decide to make a Nintendo 64 DD Expansion of Smash Bros N64. Also in this dream one of they streamed and played classic video games like Metal Gear Solid through a Cable Provider by plugging in a USB Controller in the back of the cable box. I say this because we've all had strange dreams like this one...well not exactly like that one but I was wondering what or if it meant anything, also what dreams have you guys had and woke up wondering just what happened?
  13. [So much like my Godzilla Theories Topic, this was also another soap box for my insanity. However that wouldn't be fair to this genre of video games I'm so fond of so I'm expanding it to a full on discussion and appreciation of this niche genre. So on here we get to chat about these games and I can also inform you guys and others about various series and games from it. I hope you guys enjoy as I share my love for this genre that's been around since the dawn of video games themselves. ] http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ShootEmUp Welcome one and all to theories regarding video games in the Shoot Em Up Genre, also known as SHMUP. It's a personal favorite genre of mine in video games with a TON of history ranging all the way back to Space Wars, Space Invaders, Galaxian, Galaga, Scramble, and a bunch more. Now originally I wanted to make a whole topic in the Video Game Section but I wasn't sure if that would gain any traction. On that note and the main reason why I made this topic is I have a few theories here and there, mainly two for now regarding two particular Series, that being R-Type and The Tale of Alltynex Trilogy. Now bare with me as in order for these theories to work is that they have to cross over with other SHMUP Series made by other publishers and developers, but I have my reasons for these theories and how they make sense to me, I hope you guys enjoy and let me know what you think about these theories and if you guys want me to make a SHMUP Topic in the Video Game Section. I mean that would save a lot of space rather then having seperate topics for EVERY shmup series, regardless here we go. And of course, spoilers are involved. R-Type Theory: The Other Civilization...are from Gradius!? This is going into some very obscure territory but for Clarification they are a 3rd faction for the Japan Only game R-Type Tactics II: Operation Bitter Chocolate. Funny name I know but let me go on. http://rtype.wikia.com/wiki/Other_Civilization They are an apparent alien race that was never established until this recent entry in the R-Type Series. In R-Type Final, the last SHMUP R-Type it is found out that the mysterious Bydo Empire that you have fought throughout the entire series are in fact a man-made Biological Weapon designed by us in the 26th Century to wipe out our enemies. The Bydo ended up going rampant of course so we transported the Bydo into another dimension, which led to them finding us in the 22nd Century kickstarting the whole series. Now Humanity's Enemies are never mentioned by name but since the release of Tactics II it's theorized that this Other Civilization as they are only known as are those enemies we end up fighting in the 26th Century...but who are they? We are never given any other info regarding them sadly but since then fans have left that as that and called it a day, except me anyway. What would you say that I have an idea on who these enemies are, in fact they might be..the Gradians from Gradius! If you look at one of the particular ships from them in the link I provide you, one ship suspiciously looks like that of a Big Core from Gradius, which sparked this whole theory for me. Now that's not enough I know BUT as seen in the Gradius sub-series Otomedius there is an organization of Gradians who travel from other dimensions to establish defense forces to fight their own enemies The Bacterians. It's not too crazy to assume that they could be from Gradius or are at least related to the Gradians, though Core Weapons however are a weapon of Gradius' enemies, unless you look into the obscure Gradius game Gradius NEO, which is an Older Cell Phone game taking place long after the Bacterians are defeated where the Lars Empire separates itself from the Gradius Union and uses both Gradian and Bacterian Tech to fight against them. The way I see it this Gradian Faction or The Lars Empire got attacked by The Bydo in Tactics II, ended up finding Earth around the 26th Century and ended up causing all these events to happen, I like the idea of them getting wiped by a very similar threat to what they once faced. That or this Other Civilization is Humanity from further into the future which would just be the ultimate irony right there. X_X The Tale of Alltynex Theory: The 5 Missing Alltynex Units are actually Super Computers from other SHMUPs Unlike in the first theory I'm going to keep this much more shorter then the previous theory because there is WAY too much backstory to explain in this series even for shmup standards, as in some of the biggest lore I've ever seen a Shmup Series so much that you can by a PDF book regarding everything that goes on what the details are. Basically this Senate on Earth plans their Illuminati like scheme of a new world order by using Humanity's super computer Alltynex OS to wipe out a majority of mankind, they powered it using an artifact called the ZODIAC Core...and by using the OS and Core to connect with 6 other Alltynex Units from different dimensions in order to do all this. It ends up going rampant for real though sparking the events of Alltynex 2nd. Now the 2nd stands for what The Tale of Alltynex Continuity refer to this Alltynex as this Senate call theirs the 2nd. Now Alltynex 2nd is in fact a remake of the FM-Towns game Alltynex, and it's been said that the original game's Alltynex is in fact the designated 1st Unit...but what about the other 5? Heck you could make a whole series off of the Alltynex games alone aside from the Tale of Alltynex Trilogy, however I'd like to offer my own take on what these missing 5 units are. The 1st unlike the 2nd does not have a ZODIAC Core as the ZODIAC Weapons don't exist in the original, so you don't need one for it to be an Alltynex device. What if the other 5 Units aren't called Alltynex in Their Worlds...what if we've been fighting off The Senate's After Effects of their plan the whole time throughout the years in other SHMUPs, here's a list of what these "Alltynex" Units/Super Computers could possibly be. 3rd - Xaerous Brain (from Gradius) 4th - System/Unknown Named AI (from Zanac/Aleste Series) 5th - Bydo Core (from R-Type) 6th - Cha OS (from Thunder Force) 7th - Con-Human (from The RAY Series) These are ALL Super Computers, most of which have Biological Components (some more or less then others, or none at all) and sparked the major conflicts of their respective series, now you can replace or completely redo this list if you wish, but ever since listening to the Tale of Alltynex's wonderful soundtrack again it occurred to me that whenever a Shmup has a Rampant Super Computer AI, I could be possibly still fighting the after effects of The Senate and their twisted plan, if you take this theory with a grain of salt then that could make them one of the greatest antagonists in SHMUP History. Even now the effects of Alltynex could still be felt across space and time... Thank you for reading this and if you have your own theories then post them if you like and please respond afterwards, later!
  14. "Excuse me..." Everyone turned their gaze on the Paladin. "I'm here to investigate a recent theft from the coffers of a local monastery" He hovered over the portly man, still searching his features with narrowed eyes. From the corner of his eye he kept note of the women that had been close on his heels this whole time. "Sir," he said softly almost in a whisper, "despite your poor choices today, you can start doing right by honestly answering a few questions..."
  15. Well man it has been a long time since FireRed and LeafGreen, interest in Pokemon HAS sparked up again mainly due to Gen 1 Pokemon which are the most memorable ones, arguably you can also say the same thing for Gen 2. With all these basis from various mythology and stuff it's not hard to imagine this as possible, the guy has me convinced anyway. Besides it wouldn't be ending the series it would be bringing it back to it's roots and redo some things they might not have been satisfied with, I mean I would welcome a major change up if it isn't already happening as we speak. That and rebooting everything can refresh the series, bring in new or more refined gameplay, fan favorite pokemon with new forms or just new pokemon and such, just a whole bunch of possibilities really. Honestly I'd rather have a list of commands and attacks then just 4 moves per Pokemon, I think kids can handle that. XP
  16. [Azrael's Reaction] Azrael looks on to the man in pain with silent judgement at his folly, he looks upon the two natives of Quadesh involved in this squabble, rather then say anything immediately Azrael thinks that it would be best to stay here and prepare to move if the portly man decides to once more do something foolish.
  17. [Here comes a new Challenger! XD] [Yeah I'm apart of this group now too, nice to be involved an please welcome Azrael!] With the man flustered and unawares, a large man silhouette skulked through the crowd in a quiet catwalk.... "You'll know our faith soon enough..." The man groused through grinding teeth. "You very well might get to meet our Maker..." At the flash of unsheathed steal, the shadow barreled out of the crowd in a sprint. Noticing the rattle of chain-mail, the man's hesitated. He turned his head briefly to see A giant of a man towered above the would be assassin, though he looked like a native of Quadesh the man wore chain mail and clothing foreign to the land, he had hair akin to the color of flames and eyes to match the depths of the ocean. Despite his height he had rather somewhat soft features despite the stubble on his face. The attacker struggled as the armored giant of a man snatched his left arm and as swirled around to jab his the knife towards the apparent solider. Caleb and Mujha winced instinctively as the armored giant of a fellow twisted the portly man's arm with a sharp, palpable crack. The gruesome sound was followed by an unmanly squawk. The curved, rusty knife clattered against sandy cobblestone, useless against the new assailant. "I wouldn't advice doing whatever it is your planning, leave now or face the consequences"
  18. Yeah as annoying as SX Amy is that's still a bit harsh don't you think? Talk about a major mood change for the first episode. But yeah her temper was a major flaw with her regarding the series, everyone joked or seemed afraid of her more so then anything else, that kind of temper just isn't healthy at all. It also was jarring whenever she got kidnapped if she's that strong, but I do agree with your both regarding her characterization as she just seems to get worse throughout the series no matter what lesson she learns by the end of whatever episodes that focus on her. That brings me to another related question regarding her best friend, though the Amy Question is still valid as I want to hear more from anyone else who wants to answer. What would be your take on Amy's Polite and usually Quiet friend Cream and her pet Cheese?
  19. Hi, I'm Mike, Mike Arcade ;P Let me show you how things work around here... Okay all joking aside here's a board for that strange but captivating game Undertale, which the internet and especially tumblr loves a lot! This topic will contain spoilers so if you've played all the way through or just don't care about that please proceed. Some of us here such as myself have experienced this game over and over again, you either spared everyone, killed someone, or even killed everyone! Regardless of what your choice was in the game discuses about your experience with the game, how you feel about the world, characters, anything about the game you like and even don't like, or what you would add on or even change about it! I think the game as good as it is has some flaws to it when it comes to the story and characters but I wanna here what you guys have to say first.
  20. For far too long it has not been told or seen, the epic that is Sonic Boom on WWYDD...if you can call it that, which it's not. One of the most polarizing and most recent Sonic Series outside of the games, a series that's more then endorsed by sega so much that it had a comic for a short time, a tv show, toy line, and video games! Which is a lot more then SatAM, and that makes me sad... However regardless with how we feel about Sonic Boom, we should dive into it and reconstruct it as it doesn't seem to know where it's going, and what better way to see how it could be better with us tackling it! First few questions here to warm us up. 1. Where is the rest of civilization? It seems like Bygone Island is the only place aside from a few scattered and rather bizarre villages to have any amount of civilization around them, where is everyone? What do you think is up with the world, why is it like this, and how would you handle it? 2. So some fans were quite not happy with how Knuckles is portrayed, I can't necessarily blame them but I saw this characterization coming a mile away, I mean it's a logical conclusion for how Knuckles was represented in previous games and shows since after Heroes. So I ask this, how would you make Knuckles funny but not completely stupid and not bound by any guardian duties? 3. If you could add or change one character in Sonic Boom, who would you put in or how would you change them?
  21. Ah but my Traveling friend, Blaze didn't exist when the show first debuted, so if you HAD to handle Amy just what would you do? Nothing against Blaze but that's why I asked this question, give you guys some tricky ones because that's how I roll...or Spin in this case.
  22. They made a vow, they're mother will never be found. XP Back for more questions and pondering I ask this neat twist. If you had to include Music Videos or Lyrical Music in Sonic Underground, how would you tie them into the series? The music is rather jarring in terms of tone whenever they have a Music Video so I figured is it possible to somehow tie the music into the episodes? I mean they did that sometimes but do you think they did that well?
  23. I'm bringing all of these topics back! When it comes to this series there is a lot we can talk about, I'm no fan of Sonic X that can't be denied but still with how these characters act I have to wonder how any of us could have done a lot better then what we got, so that being said here's a tough one. How would you handle the Pink Hedgehog and Fan Girl herself, Amy Rose?
